Our goal at itison is to provide you the best possible service to get you on the guest list for events that match your interests. The following terms and conditions of use are designed to ensure you fully understand itison provides invitations to events hosted by third party venues and event hosts with their own rules and regulations.
Whilst itison has processes in place to ensure each venue, event host and event conforms to high standards, itison accepts no responsibility or liability for any information posted by event hosts on itison or any loss, damage or injury sustained at an event. To report any issues regarding an event, event host or venue please email itison at info@itison.com.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before proceeding to join itison (“the Service”). By registering for use of the Service you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and will be legally bound by them whether or not you choose to read them and they will continue to apply every time you use the Service.
We may amend these terms and conditions from time to time and the new terms and conditions will then apply to any future orders by you. Details of amendments will be posted on this website.
To register or purchase the Service from this Site you must be over eighteen years of age and have a compatible computer.
Delivery will be made to the email address you provided when joining. We aim to deliver Services and/or process your subscription promptly but we do not promise that delivery or access will happen immediately nor are we liable for any problems, delays or losses in respect of delivery or access arising out of any cause beyond our control. Without limitation, we shall not be responsible for any problem you may experience with the Services due to the act or fault of any telecoms provider, internet service provider and/or technology supplier; systems maintenance (we shall try to keep this to a minimum and outside of peak hours, wherever reasonably possible); any incompatibility or technical fault in respect of your computer hardware software and/or systems and/or mobile phone; your joining details are inaccurate or out-of-date; your email in-box or your phone message mailbox is full; you are not following any instructions we give you for using the Site or accessing the Services; your mobile phone is out of range or for some other reason cannot be contacted or any other circumstance where we send you or grant you access to a particular Service but you are unable to receive it through no fault of our own. Further, the Service is subject to the limitations of the enabling technology on which it is reliant and may be adversely affected by network performance and other operational factors beyond our control including without limitation congestion, network coverage, dropped connections, the performance of your own device and the maintenance and support of secure network connections. We accept no responsibility if you do not receive the Service for any of these reasons. If for any reason we are unable to supply a particular Service, we will endeavour to inform you as soon as possible. We reserve the right to permanently withdraw any Services, in which event you will be entitled to a refund of any fees already paid by you to the extent that the fees relate to use of the Services following the withdrawal date.
Your email address, username and password is personal to you and may not be used by anyone else to access itison. You will not do anything which would assist anyone who is not a registered user to gain access to any registration area of itison, nor will you assist anyone who is not a subscriber to gain access to subscription Services. If you believe that someone may be using your email address, username or password fraudulently you should notify itison by emailing info@itison.com
We will use reasonable skill and care in making the Services available to you. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided by us without any warranties or guarantees. In particular, we do not warrant that the Site or any of its contents is virus free. You must take your own precautions in this respect as we accept no responsibility for any infection by virus or other contamination or by anything which has destructive properties. Although we will do our best to provide constant, uninterrupted access to the Services on the Site, we do not guarantee this. We accept no responsibility or liability for any interruption or delay. To the full extent allowed by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable to you for any consequential or incidental damages (including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, loss of privacy and loss of data) or any other indirect, special or punitive damages whatsoever that arise out of or are related to the Site or the Services. We will use reasonable endeavours to promptly remedy any faults in the Services of which we are aware. If we are found to be liable to you, our liability (whether arising in negligence or otherwise) will not under any circumstances exceed an amount equal to the sums paid or payable by you in respect of the Service to which such liability relates. Nothing in these terms of use shall exclude our liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence
For all itison invitations you will be sent an email to your supplied email address and the invitations will be posted to your member area in itison. You must accept your invitation in order to be put on the guest list for the event. If there are no places available you will see an event full message. All places are allocated on a first come first served basis. Receipt of an invitation does not guarantee you a place. You may be required to show identification upon arrival to the event. itison and / or the venue reserve the right to refuse admission. itison and/or the venue reserve the right to alter or amend the programme as stated on the invitation or otherwise as necessary as a result of unforeseen circumstances.
itison invitations are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue and event hosts. Full details are upon request to the event host or venue. Breach of any of these rules and regulations or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall entitle the venue or event host to eject you from the venue. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission should patrons breach any rules and regulations of the venue or event host. The venue may on occasions have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed. The unauthorised use of photographic and recording equipment is prohibited at events. Tapes or films may be destroyed. Laser pens, mobile phones, dogs (except guide dogs) and patron’s own food and drink may also be prohibited (please check with venue). The venue, event host and itison accept no responsibility for any personal property.
All information received by us from your registration and/or your use of the Site and/or your purchase of the Services will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of Use. Any personal date collected will be used solely in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988, any amendment or re-enactment thereof. We respect the personal information provided by you. We will only transfer this information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and as may be required to provide the Services to you.
The Site and/or the Services may contain advertising material and/or promotions of third parties and links to the websites of third parties (“Advertising”). Such third parties are solely responsible for the content of such Advertising and for the information, products and services on their websites. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility for the Advertising, information, products or services of third parties, including, without limitation, any error, omission or inaccuracy. Some Advertising may not be relevant to you. Some Advertising may be governed by special terms and where this is the case, you are advised to read these carefully as such special terms will take precedence over any conflicting terms in this Agreement. The Services, the Site, and the terms of this Agreement are governed by Scots law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
Any changes to this Agreement shall bind you from the time that we give you notice of them. You may terminate your subscription for any Service affected by any change providing that you do this promptly.
