With today’s deal you can head to the Aviemore area for an adrenaline-pumping day of adventure with Active Outdoor Pursuits! Hit the water and experience a day of some of the best white water rafting Scotland has to offer in Cairngorms National Park. Or, take on the country’s naturally formed gorges, jumping into deep pools and sliding down rock flumes with a day of gorge scrambling. Our third option lets you try out one of the UK’s most popular extreme sports, canyoning, where you can zoom down high speed slides and abseil 50 feet into deep water.
With each activity having difficulty levels to suit everyone, from experienced adults to families with children, it’s a brilliant day out this summer!

Active Outdoor Pursuits have been awarded 5* by VisitScotland, and it’s no wonder given their excellent range of days out for all ages and abilities! With centres in Newtonmore, The Great Glen and Ayrshire, they offer everything from outdoor activities to watersports, adventure holidays and training courses, meaning there’s something for everyone to enjoy this summer.

Activities are weather dependant for safety reasons. Active Outdoor Pursuits offer an ‘activity guarantee’ which means if the weather or conditions aren’t suitable, you will be offered an alternative activity.
Members should bring: towel, swim suit, old trainers (you are happy to get wet and dirty), old pair of shorts for over wet suit, spare pair of trainers and warm clothing to change into. Please also bring lunch and a drink.

Members must have a reasonable level of fitness.
Transport to and from the venues from Newtonmore or Aviemore is included; please discuss directly when booking.
Parking available in Newtonmore village and Aviemore.
Please note for members meeting at venues: in the event of a venue change you will need to arrange to meet Active Outdoor Pursuits at the alternative venue.
For all activities members must be confident in cold and moving water.
No wheelchair access available.
The venue may restrict the number of itison bookings on each day so please book early if you want a specific date.
The beginning and end period of a voucher’s validity is always the busiest. We advise members to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
