In my view this deal needs to be withdrawn. The cafe is unable to take the numbers of people on their very limited Cafe weekend only service and they won’t let you use voucher on the boat even if you want to forfeit the lunch. Very, very passive aggressive staff on booking side of staff undermining the other lovely staff that do work there made it very upsetting for us and frightened the children to the point they wouldn’t go near that particular member of staff. Adult food is a child’s portion, children’s not adequate even for a toddler. They have reduced the portions by 50% to appear as a discounted deal. The establishment is closed weekdays so it’s not seven days as advertised and not able to be honoured at weekends as they can’t cope with bookings in the cafe not just people trying to use their vouchers. Is it possible to have a full refund of all unused vouchers as the establishment cannot honour the advertised deal due to its own operational problems. They are not closed due to Coronavirus, Trustees have told me they are not paying the staff weekdays and only want them in at weekends therefore this would not be covered under Itison coronavirus guarantee as its not closed because of coronavirus. Given Itison’s track record of the best for their customers I am sure you will be able to refund in full as this is not a coronavirus related matter, but a business that is unable to deliver. I have been an itisoner since it’s inception and with dada before that. Never ever have I encountered such a dreadful experience and unprofessional business. Every deal I have purchased with Itison has always delivered exactly as advertised. Therefore please advise how to deal with this very dreadful one off situation in my experience. I would hate for any Itisoner to be rudely treated the way we were and to have a wasted journey.
