7 nights hire voucher is valid from Mon 7 Jan 2019 until Mon 25 Mar 2019; Collection - Mon 2pm. Return - Mon 10am.

Advance booking required. 3 night voucher must be booked by Fri 8 Mar 2019 and 4 or 7 night voucher by Mon 4 Mar 2019 with minimum 7 days’ notice.

A minimum deposit of £500 is required in advance. This is repaid to Tartan Camper Co. upon the safe and clean return of the vehicle and its’ contents.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing with a minimum of 8 weeks’ notice or you risk forfeiting your voucher. Amendments & rescheduling should be made with as much notice as possible, a minimum of at least 7 days before hire is required.

Multiple voucher purchases permitted. Multiple vouchers can be used on consecutive nights.

Stay can be extended for an additional supplement; please discuss directly when booking; subject to availability.

Collection and return times are open to negotiation at the discretion of The Tartan Camper Company. Please discuss at time of booking.

Free pick up service from Kilwinning Station.

Free parking is available to leave own vehicle in secure location. Local deliveries of vans can be arranged subject to availability; please discuss with The Tartan Camper Company direct.

Vans are 4 berth VW T25s campers (Bruce, Archie, Lotty or Bonnie). Each campervan is fitted with a two-burner gas stove, grill, refrigerator, sink with drainage and a water tank. They are also supplied with electrical fan heaters which can be used at campsites.

Children permitted and included in head count. Car seats & booster seats are not provided and should be supplied by the member if required.

Max of 1 dog permitted a supplementary charge of £50 with an additional deposit of £150; payable directly to The Tartan Camper Co.

All vans have a strict no smoking policy.

Drivers must be over the age of 25 and under 70 and held a valid licence for at least two years. Age groups outside this bracket may be insured with an additional premium and will be down to our insurer’s discretion.  Driving licences with penalty points maybe subject to a surcharge and must be declared before hire; please discuss directly. Driving licence to be produced on collection of vehicle. On collection of vehicle, hirer will need to provide a form of ID along with a recent utility bill (original only).

Fully comprehensive insurance is provided within the hire charge and for the hire Period only, driving outside this period of cover would deem to be an offence under the road traffic act. In the event of an accident, loss or damage, the hirer will be liable to pay the first £600 of any incident resulting in a claim. Insurance covers UK only.

Please also advise at the time of booking if you or additional drivers; 
 - In the last 5 years have been convicted of an offence in connection with the driving of a motor vehicle or motorcycle and/or have had their driving licence endorsed or suspended or penalty points imposed (but please note that parking offences, “spent” convictions under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and not more than two speeding offences in the past 3 years may be disregarded)
- Suffer from any mental or physical defect or infirmity or from fits, diabetes or any heart complaint
- Have had insurance declined and/or renewal refused and/or special insurance terms imposed as a result of claims experience and/or have had their insurance or cover cancelled by any motor insurer.

A full tank of unleaded petrol is supplied with the vehicle at commencement of hire and it is expected to be returned with a full tank. A £30 charge will apply for any fuel shortage plus the amount needed to fill tank which will be taken from the deposit.

Late returns will be subject to a charge of £40 per hour. No refund is given for early vehicle returns.

The venue may restrict the number of itison bookings on each day so please book early if you want a specific date.

The beginning and end period of a voucher’s validity is always the busiest. We advise members to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Vouchers must be printed for redemption; please print your voucher and bring along with you to avoid disappointment.

Voucher is not exchangeable for cash or valid with any other offers.
