Don't forget to visit the onsite Legacy bar for some more whiskey or even a Champagne afternoon tea to really make a day of it!
Known as the spiritual home of Scottish whisky, Lindores Abbey Distillery sits in a converted farm building across from the historic Abbey. The new distillery and visitor centre have been finished to an exceptionally high standard, complete with floor to ceiling windows in the still-room offering great views across to the Abbey ruins. With the first distilling on the premises in 523 years taking place in December 2017, the distillery is set to produce 150,000 litres of spirit a year, and you’ll be lucky enough to see how it’s all done!
