  • Option to include lunch including a roll with fillings of your choice and a slice of cake from the likes of Victoria sponge, lemon drizzle and carrot cake, plus your choice of tea, coffee or fruit juice
  • Follow the trail to admire rarely seen gardens in the historic town
  • Start at the Trust Museum & Garden at 12 North Street, in the heart of the fishers quarter, where there will also be tea and coffee available plus a plant stall so you can create your very own secret garden at home!
  • Then head to Deans Court to see the university-owned gardens across from the cathedral, including a vegetable garden where residents grow their own produce
  • Visit Queen Mary’s Library, where it’s thought she played archery in the garden
  • Stalls from artists, confectioners, furniture makers and more will be at St John’s House, along with raffles, refreshments and games and activities for children
  • After exploring more of the town’s finest natural spots, you’ll finish up at 12 Greyfriars Gardens, dating from 1834 and boasting a beautiful 1930s summer house
  • Suitable for all ages – enjoy a relaxing stroll along the trail or make it an exciting adventure for the kids
  • Now in its 21st year, the event raises money for the St Andrews Preservation Trust
