Hi . We were thinking of booking the Monarch sweet but we would be coming with Digger the very well behaved collie dog . Is it possible to have dinner in our room rather than in the dining room ? Regards Frank S Morrison

Whilst Fernie Castle does provide some room service, I'm afraid full dinner service isn't available in the rooms. I'm happy to let you know though that dogs are welcome in the bar area where you'd be able to have your dinner.

I’m happy to let you know this voucher can be used from Monday the 1st of July 2019 until Monday the 30th of September 2019, and is valid 7 days a week; subject to availability.

Please note the 27th and 28th of July and the 24th and 25th of August 2019 are excluded.

I'm happy to let you know Fernie Castle does have standard rooms on the ground level, but unfortunately doesn't have Queen, King or Monarch rooms on the ground level.

I'm afraid there also isn't a lift in the castle, but I hope this helps answer your question.

What to expect

Overnight stay for two in a king or queen room with breakfast

OR

Overnight stay for two in a Monarch suite with a bottle of Prosecco in room on arrival to share plus a 4 course dinner and breakfast each

Voucher is valid from Mon 1 Jul 2019 until Mon 30 Sept 2019, valid 7 days; subject to availability.

Excludes 27 - 28 Jul and 24 - 25 Aug 2019.

A supplementary charge of £20 per room per night is required for Saturday stays; payable directly to hotel.

Advance booking required. Voucher must be booked by Mon 2 Sept 2019 (we don’t want you to miss out!).

You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 48 hours of your booking.

Multiple voucher purchases permitted; max of 2 per person. Multiple vouchers cannot be used on consecutive nights.

Check-in from 3pm, check-out by 11am.

Option 1: king or queen double room available; rooms can be upgraded to the Monarch suite for a supplementary charge of £30 per night (BB only); please discuss directly with hotel. Subject to availability.

Option 2: Monarch Suite included.

Stay can be extended by a night for a supplementary charge; please discuss directly with hotel.

Option 2 includes a bottle of Prosecco in room on arrival to share plus a 4 course dinner from table d’hôte menu with tea or coffee each; menu is subject to change. In-house specials may have a supplementary charge applied or may be excluded; please discuss at time of dining. Please note Prosecco is not permitted to be taken into the restaurant for dinner.

Free parking available.

Max of 2 children are permitted; under 2’s stay free, children ages 2 – 16 years require a supplementary charge of £30 per night inc breakfast, all other meals charged as taken; payable directly to hotel.

Max of 2 dogs are permitted at a supplementary charge of £15 per dog per night; payable directly to hotel.

The venue may restrict the number of itison bookings on each day so please book early if you want a specific date.

The beginning and end period of a voucher’s validity is always the busiest. We advise members to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Vouchers must be printed for redemption; please print your voucher and bring along with you to avoid disappointment.

Voucher is not exchangeable for cash or valid with any other offers.
