Will the hotel honour the voucher beyond September should the lockdown situation be extended for an indefinite period?

We know things are uncertain at the moment, and that's why we've introduced our itison guarantee. If you can't use your voucher due to Covid-19, we'll issue an itison credit for the next 12 months.

I am really interested in this voucher but to be honest I do not want spend 250 on the voucher only to be issued with a credit note should the lockdown or at least the measures in place prevent me from using it before the end of sept. There is also the worry that even if the lockdown and measures are lifted the hotel may have an influx of people trying to use their voucher before it runs out and therefore may not have enough availability.

1. I would happily pay for the voucher if I was guaranteed my money back if I am unable to use before end of sept for either of the reasons detailed above.
2. Would I be able to book dates with the hotel just now to ensure I get the dates I am looking for (assuming lockdown/measures are lifted.

We understand things are uncertain at the moment, and have made a guarantee to offer itison credit to use for 12 months for any purchases made after 24th March 2020 which can't be used due to Covid-19.

Bookings can be made by email after buying your voucher, but responses might take a wee bit longer than usual due to limited staffing.

I hope you’ll understand that while we aren’t in a position to extend our full refund policy right now, we’re still trying to help as much as possible with the offer of credit.

What to expect

  • 2 night stay for two with a cocktail each on arrival, 2 course dinner on one night, breakfast both mornings and late check-out

Voucher is valid from Fri 1 May 2020 until Wed 30 Sep 2020, 7 days; subject to availability.

Excludes 16, 30 May, 27 - 28 Jun, 4 and 11 Jul 2020.

A supplementary charge of £30 per room per night is required for Friday and Saturday nights; payable directly to hotel.

Voucher must be booked by Fri 28 Aug 2020 (we don’t want you to miss out!).

Voucher is non-refundable once booked with hotel.

Multiple voucher purchases permitted. Multiple vouchers can be used on consecutive nights; subject to availability.

Check-in 3pm, late check-out 12noon.

Classic double or twin room available.

Rooms can be upgraded to a royal room for a supplementary charge of £29 per room per night; please discuss and pay directly to hotel.

Stay can be extended by a night for a supplementary charge; please discuss directly with hotel.

An additional adult can be added to the room for a supplementary charge of £62.50 for two nights inc dinner on one night; please discuss with and pay directly with hotel.

Max of 2 children permitted; children 0-6yrs stay free of charge paying for all meals as taken. Cots and high chair are available free of charge; 6-12yrs require a supplementary charge per child per night of £44 with breakfast and dinner.

Includes a 2 course dinner choosing a starter and main or main and dessert from the a la carte menu; subject to change.

A supplementary charge is required per person for the following: fillet steak £12, any items in the 'Steaks' or 'Ash Specialities' sections £8.50; payable directly to restaurant.

Vegetarian, gluten / wheat free options are available; please advise at time of booking.

Includes an arrival cocktail or mocktail each; options can be viewed here; subject to change.

Free onsite parking for 9 cars, subject to availability; parking also available within a 5 minute walk (rates approx. £5 – £7 per day).

Max of 2 dogs are permitted at £10 per dog per night; payable directly to hotel.

Advance booking required or you risk forfeiting your voucher.
