"Just stayed here for the night with an itison deal and really cannot fault the place. A friendly welcome and a lovely hotel. Very clean and full of Scottish character with tartan decor throughout, Scottish artwork on the walls and Scottish background music. We had afternoon tea as part of the deal – a choice of sandwiches, scones with jam & cream, shortbread, cream cakes, tea, coffee and wine. The room was a good size and very clean with good amenities, a decent shower and a lovely big comfortable bed. Two bars are on site…both selling their own ales, brewed at the sister pub and brewery and at reasonable prices. We had a meal in the bothy bar in the evening and were very happy with it…A quality breakfast was had the next day in the dining room… Again excellent decor… If you like Monarch of the Glen, this place is as close to it as I've ever stayed, set in a lovely quiet village, central to all of Scotland. So, a great stay and will be back."
