- A daily selection of 3 oysters served fresh with 2000 year old Roman sauce, red wine vinegar and shallot dressing or lemon and tabasco
- Findlay’s haggis with pickled turnip, Glengoyne whisky and Seville orange marmalade
- Creamed celeriac soup with mint and hazelnut pesto and cheddar croutons
- Belhaven smoked salmon salad with pickled salsify, crispy capers and lemon crème fraîche

We recently enjoyed their lunch menu and loved every morsel. We had the trout and haggis cannonballs for starters (one each), which were excellent. The risotto as a main was delicious and full of flavour. On top of that, the restaurant has unparalleled views of Edinburgh castle and the Royal Mile. One to go back to.
