Comrie Croft was converted into an eco-friendly hostel and campsite in 1995, being awarded a 4* VisitScotland Hostel Award and a Gold Award for Green Tourism. If you can tear yourself away from the pretty accommodation, you can head out and explore Comrie, a picturesque village on the banks of the River Earn.
Comrie lies on the edge of the Highlands and offers amazing dedicated walking and biking trails, beautiful waterfalls and ruined castles. As well as checking out the wildlife park, whisky distillery, pubs, cafés and independent shops close by, you can take a hike up the 3000ft Ben Chonzie, or take in one of the village’s historic buildings, including the Grade-A listed White Church which dates back to 1805.
Experience a getaway with a difference as you and five buddies spend one or two nights at the fantastic Comrie Croft. Take things back to basics in a beautifully hand-crafted Nordic Kata style tipi, boasting a comfy alpine bed, cushions and throws, a wood-burning stove for cooking and heating, and a campfire pit for the perfect glamping experience.
