Donate £5 and be entered into a free draw to win attendance at an exclusive dinner party with Hollywood A-lister GEORGE CLOONEY in Edinburgh and help tackle homelessness; all funds raised will go to Social Bite and Not On Our Watch
We’ve raised a huge amount so far for Social Bite with thousands of you vying for a place at the table next to George, but we want to make this even bigger!
We’ve extended the deadline to enter the competition so the winner will now be drawn on Wednesday 4th November (and don’t forget, you can buy multiple vouchers to increase your chances!)
Guess who's coming to dinner? George Clooney!
We're excited to be partnering with our friends at Social Bite to bring you the chance to dine out with Hollywood A-lister and Oscar winner, George Clooney at a private dinner party in Edinburgh - and help raise money for some incredibly worthwhile good causes at the same time.
At Christmas we asked you to buy 800 dinners for the homeless and you bought 36,000 and blew everyone away. Let's add a hot drink to every one of those meals and you get the added bonus of having the chance to dine with George Clooney!
The Grand Prize
By donating £5 to charity you will be entered to win:
- An evening with George Clooney at an exclusive private dinner party in Edinburgh this November
- The dinner party will be a private event with around 10 other people attending (to be confirmed if it will be a private lunch or dinner)
- An overnight stay for two in a suite at the 5* Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh
- Treatments at the Guerlain Spa (to make sure you look gorgeous!)
- Chauffeur driven transport to and from your dinner with George
- Multiple donations and gifting of donations permitted. Each £5 entitles you to an entry.
- Give your Mum one heck of a Mother’s Day present!
- Your donation will buy a homeless person a hot drink. All monies raised will go to Social Bite and Not On Our Watch
We really don't need to explain who George Clooney is, you all know already. He's Dr Ross, he's Danny Ocean, he's won an Oscar (TWICE), he's a writer, producer, activist and an incredibly good looking man and he could be sitting next to you at dinner this November....but only if you donate.
With today's deal you'll not only be in with a chance to win a private dinner with George Clooney, each donation will also buy a hot drink for a homeless person via Social Bite.
Part of your donation will ensure that Social Bite's 'suspended coffee' fund is kept topped up so that if a homeless person needs a hot drink, they can come in from the cold and enjoy one for free. A wee fact that impressed George Clooney so much, he plans to visit them while in Edinburgh!
Not On Our Watch
Founded by George Clooney, Don Cheadle, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, David Pressman and Jerry Weintraub, the Not On Our Watch project generates lifesaving humanitarian assistance for the vulnerable, marginalized, and displaced. Using the uniquely powerful voices of its founders, they bring global attention to international crises, target mass media, and engage governments to mobilize significant funds towards emergency and lifesaving projects across the globe.
You and your guest will check in to the 5* Waldorf Astoria, your abode for the night, before heading to the award winning Guerlain Spa to enjoy some pampering, exactly what you need before your big date.
Although your companion can help you prepare for the big event and enjoy dinner at The Pompadour by Galvin, only YOU will be chauffeur driven to a secret location and sat at an exclusive table with George Clooney and some of Scotland's most influential personalities to enjoy dinner and some world class banter.
Don't worry if you miss out on the top prize we're also giving away the chance to enjoy a brief meet and greet with George Clooney and get your photo taken.
You’ll also get two tickets to the Scottish Business Awards supported by Royal Bank of Scotland where George Clooney will be a keynote speaker, following in the footsteps of Bill Clinton and Richard Branson.
And the winner is....
We will announce the winner on Wednesday 4th November 2015. Good luck!
