Take someone special along for a delightful stay at the Grand Hotel in the charming seaside town of Tynemouth. You’ll be welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco then served up a hearty breakfast the next morning. You can also opt to include a £30pp dinner allowance so you can dine in the fantastic Brasserie, or a 3 course Sunday lunch if your stay is at the end of the week.
Grand in name and grand in nature, this hotel was owned by the Duke of Northumberland and has survived two world wars and the 1930`s depression, as well as playing host to an impressive list of guests ranging from actresses, politicians and sports stars since being built in 1872.

- Option 1, 2 and 4 voucher is valid from Thur 3 Jan 2019 to Fri 29 Mar 2019, Thur – Mon; subject to availability. Excludes Tuesdays, Wednesdays, 25, 26 Jan, 8, 9 ,15, 16 Feb and 16 Mar 2019. A supplementary charge of £20 is require for Saturday stays; payable directly to hotel.

We really enjoyed our 2 days at the Grand Hotel.

The hotel is very nicely decorated, bedroom lovely, the dining rooms all very nice, the only place which let them down was the bar Copperfields which needs a good refurb to bring it up to the standard of the rest of the hotel, but I believe that is on the cards. Breakfast great and dinner good and big portions.

Excellent value. From the entrance and welcome from reception you know it’s. going to be good.Bedroom has everything you need warm large walk in shower excellent WiFi connection. Breakfast good choice again excellent. Booked again to go in May.
