Calling all carnivores
Opening earlier this year, The Carnivore has already made a mark on Edinburgh with its tasty treats and delicious drinks. With a central location and a brand new menu launched for December, you can enjoy the perfect festive night out in the run-up to Christmas!
With today’s first two options, you can treat yourself to a cheeky cocktail from the bar’s impressive menu. Keep things fun with an Aphrodite; Pampero Blanco rum with coconut, Banane du Brésil, pineapple cane and citrus notes. Or take a trip to The Promised Land with an intoxicating mix of benchmark bourbon, bitter truth crème de violette, dandelion and burdock bitters, Taylor’s Velvet Falernum and just a touch of pineapple. And if you’re feeling bold, go for the bar’s namesake with The Carnivore; Buffalo Trace bourbon with coffee liqueur, vanilla and bacon. My oh my!

“Found this place purely by chance wandering around on a drizzly Saturday night and all I can say is I’m glad we did! Amazing food and great service.”
“A nice restaurant specialising in meat and loaded meat sandwiches; the ox cheek spring rolls in particular were lovely. The staff were attentive and pleasant. Would visit again.”
“We had a variety of cocktails to accompany our food (the ox cheek spring rolls have changed my life) and the staff were very attentive, while leaving us to enjoy our food in peace. Would definitely recommend!”
