My understanding of it is that you can book during the October school holidays but not with kids as you only get a standard room which I believe only has 1 double bed. I reckon it would most likely be ok if your wee one was in a cot.

It is a bit confusing though as I want to book option 1 (not during school hols), which is for a standard room, and bring my 2 girls and pay the £40 extra. Would I then be upgraded to a bigger room which can accommodate my 2 girls?? If the £40 (£20 per child) includes an upgrade to a bigger room and breakfast/dinner then that's a good deal. Can you clarify Itison??

I find this offer confusing as to when children are actually allowed. In one se tence it says children not permitted at this time (Oct and deal during Feb) then further down the options include children's addituonal rate! Can you explain? Then a resort credt is available for childcare etc but further down no childcare is not included. What?!

This deal is awful. You are advertising prices which in reality are not true prices because you will almost definitely have to add on extras. The small print is ridiculous. So many add ons and exclusions make it pointless. I mean advertising for stays during school holidays bout saying this excludes children is pointless. I’m not the only person who thinks this. Get some actual proper deals next time and make it worthwhile buying.

How do I actually book this. I have received this as a gift for Christmas and when I go to the website to book it, it tells me I have to pay a balance of £139.00. I just do not understand

I can confirm a valid debit or credit card will be required to secure your booking but this link is for itison bookings only and you'll not be charged again for your voucher.

Choice of vouchers for each option:

For stays Sept, Nov - Jan: Voucher is valid from Sun 2 Sept 2018 until Thu 31 Jan 2019, Sun - Fri; subject to availability. Excludes Saturdays and, 1-31 Oct, 1-2, 6-31 Dec 2018, 1-5 Jan 2019.

For stays Aug & Oct: Voucher is valid from Sun 12 Aug 2018 until Wed 31 Oct 2018, Sun - Fri; subject to availability. Excludes Saturdays and 1-30 Sept 2018. Available during Oct 2018 school holidays; double rooms only, children will not be permitted during this time.

A supplementary charge of £20 is required for Friday stays; payable directly to hotel.

A £50 per person, per night pre-authorisation is reserved via credit or debit card on arrival.

2 course dinner from a set menu; menu subject to change. Dinner will be served in Meikle Restaurant.

Vegetarian, gluten / wheat free options are available. Please advise hotel when booking.

Options 4 & 6: includes £20 resort voucher; valid for spa, activities or childcare only.

Full use of leisure facilities includes access to the lagoon pool and gym. Access to the Victorian Spa is not included.

Option 1 & 2: Max 4 children permitted. Under 2 years old stay free of charge, 2-11 years £20.00 supplement, 12-16 years £40.00 supplement. Includes breakfast and 2 course dinner.

Options 3-6: Max 4 children permitted. Under 2 years old stay free of charge, 2-11 years £30.00 supplement, 12-16 years £40.00 supplement. Includes breakfast both mornings, and 2 course dinner on first night.

Cot can be provided; please advise at the time of booking.

Childcare is not included but can be booked for an additional charge; please arrange with hotel directly.

No pets permitted.
