Hi there, we are thinking of buying the Douglas Hotel, Arran voucher but wondered what would happen if the ferry was cancelled due to bad weather etc and we couldnt get across? Would The Douglas honour the booking for another date? (even if it was past the expiry date?) I look forward to hearing from you….thanks Hazel Hunter x

The cancellation policy for this particular voucher is "You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 72 hours of your booking."

The hotel will do its best to help with any ferry cancellations, however I'm afraid there's no way to guarantee they'd be able to reschedule or refund.

It says 2 children permitted per room do you add children on after buying is there option to add on and how much extra is it are there family rooms also ?

What is cost of two single rooms ?

I can confirm this deal is for a double room with the choice to upgrade to a double/twin executive or a double/twin seaview.

You're welcome to get in touch with the team at The Douglas Hotel directly on 01770 302 968 to enquire about a single room however please note our discounts are generally based on 2 people and hotels may request that a single occupancy supplement is paid.

As such, it may on occasion be cheaper for you to book directly with the hotel rather than use a voucher for a stay.

What to expect

  • Overnight stay for two with breakfast and an optional £50 dinner allowance

Voucher is valid from Tue 24 Jan 2023 until Thu 30 Mar 2023, 7 days subject to availability. 

Excludes 10 - 11 Feb 2023.

A supplementary charge of £30 is required for Friday & Saturday stays; payable directly.

Voucher must be booked by Thu 2 Mar 2023 (we don’t want you to miss out!). 

Online bookings only.

You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 72 hours of your booking.

Multiple voucher purchases permitted.

Multiple vouchers can be used on consecutive nights; subject to availability.

Check-in 3pm, check-out 11am.

Standard double rooms available.

Rooms can be upgraded for a supplementary charge per room per night: executive double/twin - £30, executive seaview double/twin - £40; payable directly.

Stay can be extended by a night for a supplementary charge; please discuss directly with hotel.

Option 2: Includes a £50 dinner spend valid on the bar or bistro menu; subject to change. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten / wheat free options are available. Please advise hotel when booking.

Max of 2 children permitted (subject to availability of travel cot/rolling bed, room upgrade required to accommodate 2 children). Under 4's stay free and a £20 supplementary charge is required per child aged 5-17yrs; payable directly.

Pets permitted, max 2 dogs at £10 supplement per dog; payable directly to hotel.

You can use your paperless voucher from your itison account on any mobile device. Printed vouchers are also accepted.
