Questions and answers

This voucher states levels 1 , 2 and 3 are available. However, the small print says :

"Option 1: suitable for ages 7 – 12 years. Duration approx. 1hr. Beginners taster session only."

and

"Option 2 and 3: suitable for ages 13+. Duration approx. 2hrs. Beginners level 1 lesson only"

Therefore, is it possible to do level 2 or 3 with this voucher?

I can confirm options 2 and 3 are valid for a choice of level of lesson; level 1, 2 or 3. Please advise Snow Factor of your preference at the time of booking.

My daughter would like a total beginner lesson in skiing , she is 21 and I would like to brush on my snowboarding skills , would the lessons be taking place at the same time ?

All voucher options are valid to use Monday – Friday from 10am – 10pm and Saturday & Sunday from 9am – 10pm; subject to availability.

If you'd like to discuss co-ordinating your bookings for two different levels of lesson, you're welcome to contact Snow Factor directly and they'll be happy to advise further on the timetable.

It's says "under 16s must be accompanied by an adult". Does the adult need to be on the snow/lesson with them - or can they just be there watching?

I can confirm parents or guardians must remain on the premise for the duration of the lesson/ activity. Adults shall be held responsible for any damage caused by the children they accompany whilst on Snow Factor premises.

Hi, I am completely new to the slopes and would like to learn to ski so will obviously start at Level 1. It says "maximum 5 per person" so can I book 5 vouchers and use them all for myself, and if by some chance I'm a whizz and a fast learner, can I book the latter ones at Level 2?

I can confirm multiple purchases are permitted and a max of 5 vouchers can be used per person. You will be able to select your level of lesson when booking each voucher so you're welcome to book the later lessons at a higher level.

I bought voucher for my granddaughter but unknown to me my daughter also bought a voucher for her. Will my granddaughter be able to use both vouchers. If not would I be able to get a refund.

However, if your order is no longer suitable, just let us know at support@itison.com within 14 days of placing your order and we'll be happy to issue a full refund.

Hi,

I have a 7 year old who has been learning on a dry ski slope, I feel he would benefit more to learn at Snow Factor, he is on level 3 off 5 at the dry ski slope, therefore he has the basics and is beyond your level 1, is there an option available for him?

Voucher option 1 is suitable for ages 7 - 12 years but is valid for a beginner level 1 lesson only.

Voucher options 2 and 3 are valid for lesson levels 1, 2 or 3 but are only suitable for ages 13+ I'm afraid.

It does, the answer being no, there is no option for him, pretty disappointing,

So if a 7-11 year old books up for 5 of these lessons, they can only repeat level 1 which is the very basics, he has surpassed that.

Hello, my son is 12.5 years and has been on a couple of skiing holidays, but nothing much in between. Would it be possible to book the 13+, taking into consideration the 'taster' lessons wouldnt be sufficicent?

Voucher is valid from Mon 1 Apr 2019 until Fri 11 Oct 2019, Mon – Fri, 10am – 10pm, Sat & Sun 9am – 10pm; subject to availability.

Excludes 5 - 7, 12 - 14, 20 - 22 Apr 2019 and slope events or competition days.

Advance booking required. Voucher must be booked by Fri 13 Sept 2019 (we don’t want you to miss out!).

Min 5 days notice to cancel or alter booking or 10 days notice, in writing, for groups / corporate bookings / school bookings. All transfers incur a £5 admin charge. £1.99 booking fees are non-refundable. No transfer will be given within 5 days of your booking and no refund will be given for any non-attendance.

Multiple purchases permitted; max 5 per person.

Option 1: suitable for ages 7 – 12 years. Duration approx. 1hr. Beginner level 1 lesson only.

Option 2 and 3: suitable for ages 13+. Duration approx. 2hrs. Choice of level of lesson; level 1, 2 or 3. Please advise at time of booking. 

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Please visit Snow Factor website for full health restrictions and terms and conditions.

Waterproof clothing and gloves are required; available at Snow Factor to use for duration of lesson for a £4.50 surcharge at the time of booking or £6.50 for juniors and £7.50 for adults on the day; payable directly to Snow Factor.

Gloves are mandatory for all customers, you can either bring your own or they can be bought at the reception desk within Snow Factor.

It is recommended to bring a towel and a change of clothing.

Equipment required is included and provided by Snow Factor.

Please note, ski lessons have a maximum capacity of 10, snowboard lessons have a maximum capacity of 7.

Please report to reception on arrival. If you are late for your activity, Snow Factor reserves the right to refuse admission without refund or transfer.

Snow Factor provide lockers (£1 non-returnable) to store your personal items & valuables while you are on the slope. Snow Factor nor its employees or agents are responsible for any loss, theft or damage to valuables or personal property that belongs to any visitor whilst on Snow Factor premises.

Snow Factor accept no responsibility for damage to equipment or clothing whilst undertaking these activities.

The beginning and end period of a voucher’s validity is always the busiest. We advise members to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Vouchers must be printed for redemption; please print your voucher and bring along with you to avoid disappointment.

Voucher is not exchangeable for cash or valid with any other offers.
