My husband and I are planning to take my elderly aunt (89 years old) to Orkney in March next year. We are planning on staying 3 nights. Can you confirm if we can book 2 vouchers for 3 nights even though there would only be 1 person staying in one of the rooms.

While most of our getaway deals are for 2 people, many hotels are welcome to accept our vouchers for a sole traveller, although no further discount would be applicable.

It's always worth checking with the individual venue before buying a voucher, though, as some may be able to offer you a better deal directly for single occupancy.

Our vouchers are for two people only, but you're welcome to contact The Kirkwall Hotel directly on 01856 872 232 to discuss the possibility and cost of adding a third person to your booking and they'll be happy to advise.

Is there a private car park at the hotel or is there street parking? If it is street parking is it metered?

It says children from 4 but doesn’t mention if under 4 are allowed but does offer cots? Confused ?

Voucher is valid from Fri 1 Oct 2021 until Thu 31 Mar 2022, 7 days; subject to availability.

Excludes 23 Dec 2021 - 2 Jan 2022.

Voucher must be booked by Tue 1 Mar 2022 (we don’t want you to miss out!).

You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 72 hours of your booking.

Multiple voucher purchases permitted.

Multiple vouchers cannot be used on consecutive nights.

Check-in 2.30pm, late check-out 12noon. 

Stay in a standard double/twin room.

Stay can be extended by a night for a supplementary charge; please discuss directly with hotel.

Option 1: Includes a bottle of Prosecco on arrival; alcohol cannot be replaced with a soft drink.

Options 2-4: Includes a £25pp food allowance valid against any menu. Menus are subject to change. Please note voucher spend must be used in full, no change will be given. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten / wheat / dairy free options are available. Please advise hotel when booking.

Max of 2 children ages 4-15yrs permitted in a family room for a supplementary charge of £5 per child per night. Under 4s stay free of charge. Cots can be provided free of charge; please discuss directly with the hotel.
