4 nights hire: Voucher is valid Mon 2 Jan until Mon 24 Apr 2017; Collection – Mon 2pm. Return – Fri 10am.

7 nights hire: Voucher is valid Sat 7 Jan until Sat 29 Apr 2017; Collection – Sat 2pm. Return – Sat 10am.

Advance booking required. Voucher must be booked by Mon 3 Apr 2017 with minimum 7 days’ notice.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing with a minimum of 8 weeks’ notice or you risk forfeiting your voucher.

Multiple voucher purchases permitted. Multiple vouchers can be used on consecutive nights. 

Collection and return times are open to negotiation at the discretion of The Tartan Camper Company.  Please discuss at time of booking.

Free pick up service from Saltcoats train station. 

Free parking is available to leave own vehicle in secure location.  Local deliveries of vans can be arranged subject to availability; please discuss with The Tartan Camper Company direct.

Vans are 2 and 4 berth VW T25s campers.  Each campervan is fitted with a two-burner gas stove, grill, refrigerator, sink with drainage and a water tank. They are also supplied with electrical fan heaters which can be used at campsites.

Members can upgrade to Bruce van for an additional £50.  Please discuss at time of booking.

Max 2 children permitted in 4 berth VW van and included in head count. Car seats & booster seats are not provided and should be supplied by the member if required.

Pets are permitted. Maximum of 1 dog. Additional £100 deposit is required.

All vans have a strict no smoking policy. 

Drivers must be over the age of 25 and under 70 and held a valid licence for at least two years. Age groups outside this bracket may be insured with an additional premium and will be down to our insurer’s discretion.  Driving licences with penalty points maybe subject to a surcharge and must be declared before hire; please discuss directly.  Driving licence to be produced on collection of vehicle. On collection of vehicle, hirer will need to provide a form of ID along with a recent utility bill (original only).

Fully comprehensive insurance is provided within the hire charge and for the hire Period only, driving outside this period of cover would deem to be an offence under the road traffic act. In the event of an accident, loss or damage, the hirer will be liable to pay the first £600 of any incident resulting in a claim.  Insurance covers UK only

A minimum deposit of £500 is required in advance. This is repaid to the hirer upon the safe and clean return of the vehicle and its’ contents.

Late returns will be subject to a charge of £40.00 per hour. No refund is given for early vehicle returns.

The beginning and end period of a voucher’s validity is always the busiest. We advise members to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Vouchers must be printed for redemption; please print your voucher and bring along with you to avoid disappointment.

Voucher is not exchangeable for cash or valid with any other offers.
