I have managed to select tickets for Thursday 12th at 7pm and also at 7.15pm for 4 adults 1 child and 1 under 3 however the site has crashed both times once i have entered my payment details.... i dont want ro put it in a 3rd time as dont want to be charged 3 times but also dont want to lose my tickets.... Have booked tickets firstly for 11th dec then the 5th dec get all the way through after picking times and enter bank details click to buy now and goes to an error page. Tbh not really, You never answered the original question which was will there be any further early slots available? very much doubt there were new tickets for the early slots made available considering I was early into the site as soon as the server stopped crashing. Absolutely disgusted at the organisation and legality of ticket sales. Heavily advertised as available from 7.30 am 2nd October but all early evening slots already gone due to some people being able to buy last night. I needed an early slot for my young grandson as we would be travelling home some distance afterwards and he has school the next day. Very underhanded way of doing leaving so many young people disappointed.

I finally managed to get the 5 adult tickets and 4 children tickets for the time and date i wanted only to have my overseas visa card rejected by your site when it came to payment. When i managed to get a UK card sorted all the dates and times suitable were sold out!!! Is my visa card going to prove an issue when the rest of the tickets are released as coming from the other side of the world this is on our wish list?

We do generally accept international orders, but sometimes entering a zip code stops an order from going through.

I’m sorry we can’t offer a solution to this at the moment, other than suggesting you use a UK registered card if possible.

Whilst not wanting to put yet another disgruntled post on here, it does seem to have been unfair that a limited number of tickets were available last night when you quite clearly advertised that early bird tickets were available from 7.30am this morning. Nothing mentioned about availability last night.
My question, like some others here, is that whilst the offer just now is for 'early bird' tickets, will there be then a general sale with more date and time options available? Most people with families like myself will be looking for early to mid evening slots especially at weekends, so it would be useful to know if this is something we should watch out for?

I have managed to get my tickets after several times crashing and getting to checkout then saying no tickets, absolute nightmare tbh. I get there were early bird tickets but this clearly wasn't advertised enough. Site wouldn't even let me on at 7.30 this morning and I was trying since 7.15 - finally got 9pm tickets which to be honest is later than I would have liked but can I ask is all the the other stuff (outside, silent disco etc) available to access before our 9pm time slot? What a shambles. The whole entire time it's been advertised early bird tickets 2nd nothing about pre sale nonsense. Now there are no tickets left and later times like 9pm onwards just aren't practical with children. I'm hoping that someone in management is going to sort out this by adding earlier times or more dates. Been on the site from this morning and every date sold out thanks to the pre sale with no mention of it before. Terrible.

Don't you mean absolutely every one before 8pm for the weekends and 7pm for weekdays. I am sorry but your response is totally unacceptable.. I like others was ready this morning for the "early bird sale" and was extremely disappointed you allowed all the early evening slots to sell out before even actually going went on sale.
I for one.. Will no longer be a customer for your events..
What you did wasnt right and has left a lot of customers unhappy.

I did log on ASAP but looks like the sat/sun/mon pre Christmas are already sold out. Although limited pre-sale tickets were available on the 1st of October, early-bird tickets were released this morning at 7.30am. While a handful of time slots did sell out in advance of this morning, there were still plenty of tickets available for all advertised dates.

Think the point is totally being missed here! Early-bird definition -An early bird deal or offer is one that is available at a reduced price, but which you must buy earlier than you would normally do.

So why were all the tickets released in the early bird - these should have been on general sale.

ITISON not caring at all that they have made this error only concerned on the mega bucks being mad - disgusting.

We're all asking the same questions and not one of us have received a proper answer!

Hi, my family have unfortunately been unlucky to purchase any tickets for Elfingrove. We have young children so 9pm onwards slots are not suitable. We have read today that the dates are being extended. Are you able to confirm this & if true when these tickets will be released please.
Can I also let u kno that I clicked into a link abt ticket info on ur Elfingrove site last nite & it said “more dates available “ it was only when I went to confirm booking that Glasglow showed up. It somehow took me to that booking page . I stupidly had told the kids I had got tickets by that time. Hi, bought all the tickets I needed easily this morning thanks. I would like to ask though why itison thought it is fair that all the time slots pre-xmas were allowed to be sold through your discounted early bird offer, but customers like myself who were unfortunate not to get these tickets on the 2nd now have to pay more? I relised when you released more tickets that there must be a reason why it had to be after xmas & not prior the 5th(which would of been so much better), but I've only realised later today after purchasing that it's actually cost me an extra £25 ?. I believe it's been an extra £2.50 per head. My need & quickness after failing on the 2nd to actually get tickets over shadowed my interest in the price this morning. I know it's still the holiday period, but surely as these new dates are POST SANTA these tickets should of been the cheapest ones, at the very least sold at same price as the "early bird"! To say I'm disappointed in itison & its organising of it sales is an understatement. I am not trying to ask for a refund as I am still looking forward to your event, but feel I have to bring this to yourselfs to see if any answer can at minimum be given if not a gesture of goodwill in my ticket price.
I would also like to ask (not a negative point!) but if you will be changing the format at the point where Santa is introduced after xmas?

While we were of course hoping the event would be popular, we genuinely didn't expect - based on previous events like GlasGLOW - for there to be quite so much demand for tickets straight away. We expected to still have plenty of tickets left at the end of last week, at which point they would likely have reverted to non early-bird pricing. As it was though, the vast majority of dates wound up selling out at the cheaper early-bird prices.

For the new dates we added, the prices did revert to full price rather than early-bird.

I can confirm the creative aspect will be adapted after Christmas to ensure the magic isn't spoiled for litte ones!

Hi my slot is 8.15pm. I was hoping to come an hour earlier to visit the outdoor area but notice small print says no earlier than 15mins before allocated time slot?. This will mean my kids eating really late. How early will we be able to come, please confirm?

I'm afraid we wouldn't recommend queuing to enter the museum earlier than 15 minutes before your time slot, although the outdoor area will be closed from 10.30pm, so we'd advise coming along earlier to enjoy that first.

Tickets are valid only for your specified slot.

Duration: you go at your own pace, so depending how long you spend at each feature, the event typically takes between 60-90 minutes.

Max 40 tickets per purchase option; for any purchases above 40 please contact elfingrove@itison.com to arrange.

Please ensure you arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before the time on your ticket.

Great for all ages; under 3s go free but still require a ticket. Children are classed as 3 - 15 years. Prams are permitted, however we recommend baby carriers.

Some areas along the route include flashing lights which may be unsuitable for those with photo-sensitive epilepsy.

As elements of the event are outdoors, please remember to dress for the weather.

Silent Snow Disco is not included in ticket price; tickets will be available on itison.com in advance of the event and on-site at the event. Last entry 10pm and closes at 10.30pm.

Bringing food and drink is not permitted; food and drink will be available to buy onsite.

Alcohol is not permitted but you'll be able to grab a drink at the bar; last orders 10.30pm. (subject to licence).

Small bags are permitted.

Accessibility: Wheelchairs and mobility scooters are permitted. If you have any queries, please contact elfingrove@itison.com.

We will be developing a sensory guide for the event in consultation with the National Autistic Society - if you would like to be sent a copy please contact elfingrove@itison.com.

Some bench seating is available throughout the museum.

Kelvingrove car park is closed to anyone who has not reserved a blue badge space. Our blue badge spaces are now full. However, there are blue badge spaces available to the public throughout the West End. 

Parking is extremely limited in the West End so the best and easiest way is by public transport. There are loads of great hassle-free ways to get here – check our FAQs for more information on transport options.

No pets permitted; assistance dogs only.

Last entry is at 10:30pm. Please note, our outdoor area closes at 10:30pm so we recommend visiting it beforehand if you’re attending one of our later timeslots.

For early entry to the outdoor area please use the Argyle St entrance where a ticket check will be in place.

Event closes at midnight.

Multiple purchases permitted.

Tickets can be presented on mobile device or printed for redemption; please show your ticket on arrival.

Ticket is non-refundable unless full event is cancelled. In poor weather, we may need to close the outdoor area.

Ticket is not exchangeable for cash or valid with any other offers.
