“Amazing. We needed time away to gather our thoughts and Ackergill Tower truly delivered. We stayed in a seashore cottage as we had our dog with us, whose needs were also met with its own secure area to run around in. We dined in the tower and the food was excellent with a varied menu. The staff could not have done anything more for us - thank you for some great memories.”
“I love this place; it has history, a great park and a sea view you won’t find in too many places! We had a very good cottage filled with antique furniture and the kitchen was lovely as well. Watching the sunset is a pretty unique experience in this environment - I just wish I had more time to stay there.”
“We stayed in a cottage as it’s pet-friendly and sleeps six in three big double rooms. It was absolutely huge and well-appointed. We ate our dinner and breakfast in the tower itself and both meals were fantastic. You hardly realise that the tower is a hotel; it is almost like your own castle, absolutely amazing. The staff were brilliant too – unobtrusive but friendly and helpful. We had a very relaxed stay and will certainly be back if we're in the area.”
