Small print

• Water rafting voucher is valid from Sat 2 Jul 2016 until Fri 2 Sep 2016, White Water Rafting – Wed, Fri-Sun 9.00am-3.30pm and excludes Mon, Tue and Thurs.
• Paddle boarding voucher is valid from Mon 4 Jul, 2016 until Thu 1 Sep, 2016, Paddle Board – Mon & Thurs 9am-2.30am and excludes Tue, Wed, Fri – Sun.
• Canyoning voucher is valid from Sat 2 Jul, 2016 until Fri 2 Sep, 2016, Tues & Sat (Grade 4) Fri & Sun (Grade 3) and excludes Mon, Wed - Thurs.
• All dates are subject to availability.
• Bookings can be made from Mon 30 May 2016.
• White water rafting and canyoning duration: approx. 6 hrs 30 mins inc travel.
• Paddle boarding duration: 5 hrs 30 mins.
• Advanced booking required. Voucher must be booked by Fri 29 July 2016 (we don’t want you to miss out!)
• You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel after 14 days of your booking.
• Activities are weather dependant for safety reasons. Active Outdoor Pursuits offer an ‘activity guarantee’ if the weather or conditions aren’t suitable, you will be offered an alternative activity.
• Multiple purchases permitted. Max 6 vouchers per group for canyoning and paddle boarding and max 8 vouchers for white water rafting.
• Parking available.
• White water rafting, paddle boarding and canyoning grade 2/3 are suitable for ages 7+. Canyoning grade 4 is suitable for 12+.
• Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Max 8 people per raft for white water rafting; groups can fit up to 36 (minimum 4 per group).
• Max 16 people per group for canyoning (minimum 4 per group).
• Max 16 people per group for paddle boarding (minimum 6 per group).
• Canyoning will be either a grade 2/3 or grade 4, more grading system information here.
• Members must have a reasonable level of fitness.
• Canyoning: members must be able to swim. 
• White water rafting: members must be confident in cold and moving water.
• Paddle boarding: members must be confident in cold water.
• Active Outdoor Pursuits will send a medical declaration on booking.

• Member should bring: towel, swim suit, old trainers (you are happy to get wet and dirty), old pair of shorts for over wet suit (for Canyoning), spare pair of trainers to change into, warm clothing to change into. Please also bring lunch and a drink.

• Meeting point: Active Aviemore, Grampian Road, Aviemore, PH22 1PT.
• White water rafting and Canyoning meet at 9am and return approx 3.30pm.
• Paddle boarding meet at 9am and return approx 2.30pm.
• The beginning and end period of a voucher’s validity is always the busiest. We advise members to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
• Vouchers must be printed for redemption; please print your voucher and bring along with you to avoid disappointment.
• Voucher is not exchangeable for cash or valid with any other offers.
