Tucked away on Mitchell Street, offering a quiet haven from the hustle and bustle of Buchanan Street and Central Station, lies Barolo Grill. With comfy leather booths, low lighting, impeccable service and a laid-back atmosphere, this much-loved restaurant offers delicious menus and a fantastic selection of wines from the award-winning team behind sister restaurants like high-end The Anchor Line.
- Freshly prepared soup of the day with crusty bread
- Homemade duck and game terrine with piccalilli and wholemeal Scottish oatcakes
- Fresh Scottish mussels steamed with white wine, garlic and parsley in a rich tomato sauce with toasted focaccia
- Classic Italian salad with buffalo mozzarella, vine ripened plum tomatoes and basil oil
- Penne pasta with crumbled spicy ‘Nduja sausage, red onion and roast peppers in a rich tomato and basil sauce with a touch of cream
- Beef cheek braised in Barolo wine, served with a butter and grana padano gnocchi
- Rigatoni with sautéed woodland mushrooms in a fresh basil and cream sauce, finished with truffle oil

First time trying Barolo and wasn't disappointed, staff were amazing from when we entered the restaurant until we left plus the food was amazing. I would highly recommend to family and friends so cant wait to go back.
