Beers & bites
Today’s deal will see you and up to three pals tuck into a beer flight each alongside an array of scrumptious street food style bites at Great Western Road’s Crossing the Rubicon. You’ll take your pick of the fantastic rotating craft beers and ales on offer, all brewed by master Scottish brewers Dryate and the Williams Brothers, before three 1/3 pints are poured for you to wrap your lips around.
To top it all off, your beer will be accompanied by traditional South Asian nibbles, choosing a street food dish each like samosas, chicken pakora pops and panipuri (crispy shells with potato, date & tamarind chutney, coriander, tomato and onion). Featuring flavours from India, Burma, Sri Lanka and beyond, this makes for the perfect pairing to your tasty tipples!
Crossing the Rubicon
From the team that brought us Glasgow favourites, Drygate and Inn Deep, this scrumptious William Brothers eatery is known amongst locals for their tantalising array of South Asian flavours and incredible range of craft beers. Having recently launched a brand new menu, the food packs even more of a punch than ever before, offering delicious street food style dishes alongside their legendary curries and homemade sides. Served up in super stylish surrounds, with a laid back vibe, funky wall art and mismatched furniture, this is the perfect place to grab your mates and tuck into some of the tastiest offerings this side of the river!
“A 10/10 for everything, from the tasty curries and delicious crafts, to the service and friendly staff! Would definitely recommend a visit!”
“What’s not to love? I’d go as far as saying this is one of my favourite places in Glasgow.”
“Firstly, if you’re into craft beer then you have hit the jackpot – Crossing the Rubicon has rotating taps of craft and a well-stocked fridge! If you’re not into craft but like a nice beer, don’t fret as the knowledgeable staff will help you find one for you. Their curries complement every beer stocked – I haven’t found one I’ve disliked yet. It’s safe to say there is nothing better this place can do!”
