The Mercure Ayr Hotel is located just a few yards from Ayr town centre and is situated right on the promenade with stunning sea views across to the Isle of Arran. With a heated indoor swimming pool, spa pool, and gym as well as a sauna and steam room within the hotel, you can do some serious relaxing during your stay.

Staff on reception very friendly & welcoming. Restaurant staff very professional. Dinner was excellent, as was breakfast with lots of choices.
Rooms very dated, a bit dingy, smell of dampness & far too hot(February stay). This is a real let down compared to rest of hotel.
Would stay here again if rooms were refurbished.
