With sandstone columns, high ceilings and huge, stained glass windows, it should come as no surprise that The Citizen is a venue steeped in history: the beautifully-restored building was originally home to Glasgow’s first evening newspaper (almost 200 years ago!), The Evening Citizen. Now playing host to Glasgow’s hottest new bar and restaurant, you can be amongst the first to get a peek inside the iconic venue, all while enjoying a decadent afternoon treat. Cheers to that!

- Voucher is valid from Wed 3 Jan 2018 until Sun 25 Mar 2018, Sun - Fri 12noon - 4pm and Sat 12noon - 1pm; subject to availability.
- Advance booking required. Voucher must be booked by Fri 9 Mar 2018 (we don’t want you to miss out!).
- Online bookings only.
- You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 24 hours of your booking.
- Multiple voucher purchases permitted.
- Max of 2 vouchers per table.
- Afternoon tea menu only; includes an assortment of warm savouries, selection of finger sandwiches, home-baked scones served with jam and cream, fresh baked cakes and pastries.
- Menu is subject to change.
- Vegetarian options are available. Please advise restaurant at time of booking. No gluten / wheat free options available.
- Option 2 includes 125ml glass of Champagne each.
- Alcohol can be substituted for a draught soft drink.
- Table required back after 1hr 30mins.

We had a lovely afternoon with friends at The Citizen.
Foot was excellent ,as were the cocktails. They even made me a non alcoholic pineapple one which I can highly recommend. I would definitely go again.
