I'd never been here before, so didn't really know what to expect. This little gem is very tastefully decorated & in the restaurant there were some booths, which made it feel intimate. I'd come here for an afternoon tea & as soon as we'd sat down the server was there asking if we'd like some tea or coffee. The food arrived shortly afterwards & there was an excellent selection of sandwiches, cakes & the best scones I've EVER tasted. There was lots of choices with the selection given & there was plenty of food too. The server would come back occasionally to check if we were OK & if we required more tea. The server was so lovely, as were her colleagues & made our experience at this restaurant, with her warm character, a truly fantastic introduction to the Black Bull. We will definitely be returning for a meal in the very near future. I'd definitely recommend this place 5*
