The Woodside Hotel
Tucked away in Aberdour just a half-hour drive from Edinburgh, The Woodside Hotel is the perfect base for exploring the very best of what Fife has to offer. As well as a great location, the hotel boast its historic Clipper restaurant which features a beautiful stained glass ceiling designed by Oscar Paterson, a contemporary of Charles Rennie Macintosh. Paterson’s ceiling was originally a key feature in the restaurant aboard the Clyde-built RMS Orontes, which sailed from the UK to Australia between 1902 and 1926. Preserving this beautiful piece of history, The Woodside combines stunning old world features with modern conveniences to make for a truly wonderful stay.

“If you are planning a trip to Fife (and you should), make sure to spend a night or two at The Woodside - you won't find better hospitality. The area is gorgeous and just across the street from the coastal trail for a good walk along the sea side. Plus, the folks that work there are just lovely!”
