Taking place in the glorious Kingdom of Kelburn, you’re invited to join the world of fairy tales with this unique and immersive theatrical event. Go on, get some tickets – after all, even Cinderella had a night off to go to the ball!
- One child or adult ticket
- Takes place at Kelburn Castle near Largs; rated a 3* visitor attraction by Visit Scotland
- Kids will begin the afternoon by taking part in a fun craft activity
- Then get ready for a spellbinding adventure with this immersive and theatrical experience
- Once Upon a Time, Kelburn Castle hosted the Fairy Tale Valentine Ball; an evening filled with fun and laughter for all the princes, princesses, fairies and friends in the land
- But the Wicked Step Mother was set in a jealous rage and cast an evil spell on the castle and all its guests – it’s up to you to break the curse!
- Meet famous fairy tale characters along the way as you weave through rooms and staircases to discover clues to end the evil curse
- Once you’ve broken the spell, kids will enjoy a 30-minute play session in Kelburn’s indoor barn play area
- Get your fairy tale ending with a well-deserved walk around the gorgeous Kelburn Castle grounds

Tickets include access to Glen trails and gardens, open from 10am – 4pm and a 30 minute play session in the indoor playbarn for children before or after your time slot.
Suitable for ages 3+.
Please note the experience will require walking from the start point in the country centre across to the castle and does incorporate steps outdoors and staircases within the castle. This is not suitable for prams and if you have any concerns about personal mobility please call Kelburn to discuss on 01475 568685.
