Some experiences get the ‘extra special’ seal of approval – like taking part in a Swimming with Seals tour held by the fantastic team from Basking Shark Scotland!
- Under 16's ticket available
- Day runs 8am – 5pm with 4 hours swimming, snorkelling, island exploration and marine life safari
- Clear, shallow waters so no need for diving experience, beginners welcome
- Members are advised to bring along cameras (and binoculars if you have them!)
- Non-swimmers can land ashore for island exploring
- Home baking, snacks and drinks are provided but you’ll need to bring lunch
- Day lead by knowledgeable guides, with books and extra information handy
- Equipment available on a first come first served basis - sizes are limited
- Basking Shark Scotland is a member of Wild Scotland, a specific nature tourism body, so you can rest assured that all of their activities have full environmental accreditation
- Stop off in Tobermory on the Isle of Mull
- Option to swim or watch the experience
Small print
- Advanced booking is mandatory and must be confirmed 24 hours ahead of event. Please refer to ticket for full details.
- Once purchased, members should contact Basking Shark Scotland to discuss equipment hire. Details can be found on your ticket after purchase.
- Equipment hire is not included in the price of a ticket.
- Under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to take part.
- Basking Shark Scotland can cancel trips due to bad weather. Members should check Basking Shark Scotland website for all information. Dates will be rescheduled.
- Members must be able to swim 50m-100m and be able to board a boat via a ladder. No other specific experience is required other than a general level of fitness.
- Basking Shark Scotland can provide full equipment but there is limited availability.
- Members should wear warm clothes & bring swimwear & towels. Members should also bring their own lunch, however, snacks will be provided.
- Sorry, not wheelchair accessible.
- Tickets are non-transferable and once booked, dates cannot be changed.
