I'm happy to confirm you'll arrive in Amsterdam at approx. 9.45am, and your return coach transfers are included in the cost of your voucher. Check-in for the return journey will open at 2.30pm, and close at 4.45pm for a 5.30pm departure.

If we booked a deal for 4 and paid for 4 would it be fine for only 3 to go. Myself, partner and 8 year old are looking to book, we understand we would need to pay for 4 however.

What to expect

2 night mini cruise in a standard private cabin for two or four OR

2 night mini cruise in a standard private cabin for two or four with breakfast and dinner one way and Amsterdam canal cruise OR

2 night mini cruise in upgraded seaview cabin for two or four with breakfast and dinner both ways

Voucher is valid from Sun 17 Nov 2019 until Sat 28 Dec 2019; subject to availability.

Excludes 23 - 25 Dec 2019.

A supplementary charge per night of £30 for two people and £40 for four people is required for Fridays and Saturdays; payable directly to DFDS.

Advance booking required. Voucher must be booked by Fri 11 Oct 2019 (we don’t want you to miss out!).

Online bookings only.

Once booked with DFDS, the voucher is non-changeable or refundable. Failure to arrive for scheduled sailing will result in forfeiture of your voucher.

Multiple voucher purchases permitted.

Multiple vouchers cannot be used consecutively.

Duration: 2 nights.

Departure from Newcastle: Check-in opens 2.30pm, boarding opens 3pm, check-in closes 4.15pm, boarding closes 4.30pm. Ship leaves at 5pm.

Includes return coach transfers from Amsterdam port to Amsterdam City.

Arrival at Amsterdam approx. 9:45am, with coach departing to city centre at 10:15am. Approx 5 hours in Amsterdam, with last coach leaving city centre at 4pm.

Departure from Amsterdam: Check-in opens 2.30pm, boarding opens 3.30pm, check-in closes 4.45pm. Ship leaves at 5.30pm.

Departure times are subject to change depending on weather conditions.

Options 1, 2, 3 and 5: Inside standard cabin with bunk beds only. Cabins can be upgraded to a sea view cabin for a supplementary charge of £15 per cabin; payable directly to DFDS.

Options 4 and 6: Seaview cabin with bunk beds only. Includes breakfast and dinner both ways. Both served in the Explorer’s Kitchen. Menu can be viewed here; subject to change.

Options 3 and 5: Includes breakfast and dinner one way. Both served in the Explorer’s Kitchen. Menu can be viewed here; subject to change.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten / wheat free options are available.

Dining facilities are available onboard.

Options 3 and 5: Includes tickets each for a 1 hour Amsterdam canal cruise with audio tour.

Children permitted; children 0-3 years old travel free on the basis they share a bed. Max. of 1 infant per cabin, per booking.

No pets permitted.

Charged parking available at the ferry terminal; payable to Port of Tyne.

Wheelchair access available. Please discuss with DFDS when booking.

The venue may restrict the number of itison bookings on each day so please book early if you want a specific date.

The beginning and end period of a voucher’s validity is always the busiest. We advise members to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
