can you buy chairlift passes on the day?

Yvonne, 08:11, 12/06/18

Hi Yvonne,

Thanks for getting in touch.

Discounted chairlift tickets will not be available on the day but we've raised to see if you can buy full price tickets directly whilst there & will return to your email asap with the outcome.

It says parental discretion. Does that mean that a 12 is like a new 12A and that I can bring under 12s with me?

08:11, 12/06/18

Hello,

Thanks for getting in touch.

All films available have an age rating recommendation, but it will be at the discretion of the parent or guardian to allow any child under the recommended age to view the film.

I hope this helps!

Jenny, itison Customer Support, 09:20, 12/06/18

Is it £30 per car?

kathleenmayforbes, 17:01, 12/06/18

I've purchased a movie ticket but not chairlift passes. Your T+C's say chairlift passes must be purchased in conjunction with a movie ticket. If I buy them separately, is that okay or can they be purchased on the day?

08:26, 12/06/18

Hello,

Thanks for getting in touch.

You don't require to buy a chairlift ticket to attend the drive-in, but if you wish to do this activity during the movie you're attending, you're welcome to purchase these online.

marie, 09:39, 12/06/18

Hi Marie,

Thanks for getting in touch.

The event is going ahead as advertised at this time - adverse weather will not affect screenings (you’ll be inside your cars!) however extreme conditions may and we'll keep you updated on our Facebook & Twitter nearer the time.

Hi Sean,

Thanks for getting in touch.

Sorry, no vans, coaches or commercial vehicles are permitted at all to the drive-in.

I hope this answers your question.

Jenny, itison Customer Support, 11:11, 12/06/18

Hi could you please clarify this a bit better. We have a 9 seater VW and were bringing this. It is not a van, coach or commercial vehicle but is exactly the same size as a VW Camper?

Andrea, 20:54, 12/06/18

We also have a vw 9 seater....same height as a range rover just about a foot longer.!

Amanda, 22:28, 12/06/18

Hi Andrea & Amanda,

We've raised your request with the event provider, but I'm afraid we can't guarantee this will be possible as vans are not permitted.

We'll return to you directly on the outcome asap.

Jenny, itison Customer Support, 17:01, 14/06/18

Jenny ,

What’s the latest on being able to use the vw camper for the screening as the women above says it’s literally the same size as a large 4x4 ? Surely we could be accommodated?

Our dog is always with us in a covered indoor kennel inside our car. Is it alright to bring her as long as she stays in our car?

Andrew, 12:11, 12/06/18

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your question.

I'm sorry, pets are not permitted to the event.

I hope this answers your question though.

Jenny, itison Customer Support, 12:30, 12/06/18

Why are dogs not permitted if they are secured in the vehicle? What is the reasoning behind this decision? If people are staying at b&bs most don't allows dogs to be left unsupervised.
Thanks

Lauren, 01:21, 21/07/18

Hi Lauren,

Thanks for getting in touch.

I'm afraid it's part of the event T&C's that pets aren't permitted on site. I'm sorry for the disappointment this will cause, though.

Hello. I want to buy at ticket for the 9:30 showing on Saturday but want to buy chairlift passes also but note it only runs till 5pm. Can we use these chairlift tickets earlier in the day or not?

12:29, 12/06/18

Hello,

Thanks for getting in touch.

Your chairlift ticket will only be valid to use during the film you're attending & these can only be used until 5pm at this time for safety reasons.

I hope this answers your question!

Jenny, itison Customer Support, 12:32, 12/06/18

I don't really understand why it still allows you to buy the chairlift passes after selecting the 9:30 film if you cannot use them and its not very clear in the terms and conditions.

12:40, 12/06/18

Hi there,

Thanks for getting back in touch.

The chairlift passes are sold separately to the movie tickets. To enjoy the chairlift, these would need to be bought in conjunction with a movie ticket for an earlier time, as the chairlift is only available until 5pm.

I am attending this event on the Saturday night at 9pm and would have liked to purchase tickets for the chairlift, however I see that the chairlift would not be open after 5pm and was wondering - would we be able to go on the chairlift either earlier on in the day or early on the next day? We have a large MPV which is 2.1 metres tall - so the size of a van but not a van. Would this be allowed?

Also, how is sound delivered? Is it through the car radio as ours doesn’t work?

08:35, 14/07/18

Hi there,

I'm afraid no vans or campervans are permitted at all. The sounds will also be delivered through the radio of your vehicle.

No, it doesn’t answer my question., please can you confirm that our car, which is the size of a van but not a van, will be allowed in.

I think it's very unfair that unless you purchase a day time ticket, activities such as tubing and the chairlift are unavailable. A bit misleading to be honest. Also the bandstand out door movies cost £4.50 think £30 is very steep. Hopefully it's planned better next time.

23:40, 01/08/18

Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch though sorry you're disappointed in this.

I'm afraid this is to do with safety and we've highlighted on the offer you cannot use the chairlift after 5pm due to this.

Tubing however is available until 8:30pm on each date of the Drive-in.

Our prices reflect the set up & running of this event in this location and £8 of the ticket price is allocated towards the actual cinema ticket.

I hope this helps & you find another magical deal in the near future if this doesn't personally suit!
