Not a question, more an observation... I’ve just bought the voucher but the hotel doesn’t have the date I’m looking for. (The only date my friend from London can manage up to Scotland) so I’m left waiting for customer service to call me back as I’ve no more money to spend while this £169 is waiting to be repaid. This could take up my whole day as the other venues that I’m looking to book are on a similar basis. Buy the voucher AND THEN check the dates! Does this work for many people? Am I just unfortunate to be unlucky on my first attempt?
