Can an Adult get the transfer over to watch kids but not do the quad bike themselves ? If not can kids go unsupervised?

I've double checked with West Coast Activities and they've let me know each child ticket entitles 1 adult to travel over to the island with them.

The child voucher includes one adult on the transfer to the island but does the child ride the quad on their own or is the adult included in the quad ride also. Only asking as the boy im buying this for only turns 6 at the beginning of Oct and may be nervous. I also want to know whether to purchase just one adult or 2 adult vouchers.

Hi there, will my 2 sisters be able to join myself and 2 brothers on the speedboat transfer even though they haven't purchased this deal? How much would this be if a cost applies and can they pay on the day? The deal has sold out otherwise 1 of them would have purchased the voucher :)

Also on the West Coast Activities website and booking confirmation I've just received, the location we are to report to is now Burnfoot Farm G83 8RD which differs from the small print on your voucher - is it at all possible to get some brief directions from Cameron House as the revised address does not show on sat nav/google maps- the post code looks like it's 3 minutes away from Cameron House the original meet up point so hopefully won't be to difficult to locate but as we are coming through from Kilmarnock we want to be confident in being able to locate the meet up point in good time! :)

This company do not answer their emails or phones. Their voicemail says don't leave a message as we don't pock them up! I've received no email acknowledgementioned for my booking and they've ignored my emails.How the he'll are you supposed to get any confirmation of a booking when their website is so poor?

To the fellow Itison customer who commented - myself and 2 brothers turned up today 50 minutes early for our 11.30am booking and had to contact Itison when nobody from West Coast Activities had arrived by half 11 even though we were advised to turn up 30 minutes before when we booked 2 months prior via a booking confirmation from Nick Young of West Coast Activities - their communication was extremely poor thereafter though which should have been a warning sign as like you say their voicemail notes that no voicemails will be picked up and the email I received 2 months ago when I booked when I tried asking a question directly noted to contact them on their mobile if I've a question as they are very busy with customers but when I whatsapped their mobile and they had clearly read the message (indicated by blue ticks - they still failed to respond) but I was confident everything would be fine because I've never previously had any issues with Itison deals I have booked before.

Today the mobile went straight to voicemail when I tried contacting West Coast Activities after waiting for 50 minutes with no sign of anyone and their WhatsApp showed that they had not been online since Thursday!! I have checked there though - and they appear to have now switched their mobile back on again so they would have now recieved my text from this morning but they haven't had the decency to apologise for not showing up or notifying me beforehand that they are no longer operating.

Jenny from Itison called me back once she had investigated with a colleague to let me know this company has now ceased to operate and had apparently advised all customers but I received nothing :(

I'm beyond disappointed that Itison at the time of being notified did not email customers to confirm further. We had driven all the way from Kilmarnock and I had to work an extra 8 hours at work just to get the time off today!! I dread to think how many more customers will show up just to be disappointed too - eespecially as nearly 200 vouchers have been sold for this particular deal :(

Jenny from Itison agreed to return the £156 I spent on this deal but I am still extremely upset that I wasn't notified before at all from West Coast Activities or Itison (perhaps more so the latter when I am a loyal Itison customer) that West Coast Activitied had ceased to operate - the lack of communication from this company (clearly indicated by the comment above from another Itison customer

Itison advised there were no previous complaints made about this company on their system.

What to expect

30 minute kids’ quad bike track session for one child or one adult quad bike safari experience on Inchmurrin Island including speedboat transfer

Voucher is valid from Tue 1 May 2018 until Wed 31 Oct 2018, 7 days 10am – 6pm; subject to availability.

Advance booking required. Voucher must be booked by Wed 10 Oct 2018 (we don’t want you to miss out!). 

You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 48 hours of your booking.

Multiple voucher purchases permitted; max of 4 per person.

Activity will be 30 mins on quad bike on Inchmurrin Island plus speedboat transfer to Island and back.

Members should aim to arrive 30 mins before activity.

General fitness level required.

Option 1: suitable for ages 6 – 16 years (using a 50cc or 90cc Yamaha quad bike). Each child ticket entitles 1 adult to travel to island; additional adults are welcome but will be charged at £10 per person.

Option 2: suitable for ages 16 years + (using a 420cc Honda 4×4 quad bike).

Boilersuits, gloves, goggles and helmets will be provided for the quad bikes by West Coast Activites; members should bring suitable shoes or boots.

There is secure locker room where you can keep all your belongings.

Meeting point: Cameron House Marina, Loch Lomond, Dunbartonshire, G83 8QZ

The venue may restrict the number of itison bookings on each day so please book early if you want a specific date. 

The beginning and end period of a voucher’s validity is always the busiest. We advise members to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. 

Vouchers must be printed for redemption; please print your voucher and bring along with you to avoid disappointment. 

Voucher is not exchangeable for cash or valid with any other offers.
