For one or two nights, you and your companion will unwind in the tranquility of the beautiful Lancashire countryside, all whilst exploring the historic grounds. Originally built as a family home in the 14th century, Samlebury Hall now functions as a museum and gallery, featuring exhibitions from local artists and selling high quality Lancashire produce in its charming gift shop. The Hall also offers free tours to give a glimpse into its fascinating past; covering everything from spooky ghost stories to the infamous trial of the Samlesbury ‘witches’, you’ll be left in awe! “We had a brilliant stay in one of the shepherd’s huts while at the hall. A very tranquil and peaceful experience.”
“The huts were cool in the hot weather but had heating in case it was needed. All duvets and towels were provided, just like they would be in a hotel. There was a lot to do onsite for families and the waffles we had at Dottie’s Wafflery were amazing.”
“We had a fabulous time staying in our hut and would thoroughly recommend it. We also visited the hall, which was really interesting. The staff are all really friendly and nothing was too much trouble - well done guys. We will definitely be back again.”
