Hi, what happens if the hotel does not re-open after lockdown until after the end of March which is the voucher expiry date?

Hi I was given a voucher as a gift for lumley castle which states it must be booked by 26th February and used by 31st March. As under current restrictions this is not possible are they extending the date on this deal? If so do we need new voucher? Many thanks diane

What to expect

  • Overnight stay for two with bottle of wine, full English breakfast and late check-out OR
  • 1 or 2 night stay for two with £20pp dinner allowance, full English breakfast and late check-out

Voucher is valid from Thu 3 Dec 2020 until Sat 31 Jul 2021, valid 7 days; subject to availability. 

Excludes 30 Apr - 3 May 2021.

A supplementary charge of £30 is required for Friday and Saturday night stays; payable directly to hotel.

Voucher must be booked by Wed 30 Jun 2021.

You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 24 hours of your booking.

Multiple voucher purchases permitted.

Multiple vouchers can be used on consecutive nights.

Check-in 3pm, late check-out 12noon.

Courtyard classic double or twin room available.

Rooms can be upgraded to a castle feature room for a supplementary charge per room per night; please discuss and pay directly to hotel.

Stay can be extended by a night for a supplementary charge; please discuss directly with hotel.

Option 1: Includes a bottle of red or white wine in room on arrival; alcohol cannot be replaced with a soft drink.

Options 2 & 3: Includes a £20pp dinner allowance on the first night only. Menu is subject to change. Allowance must be used in full; no change will be given. Max of 1 voucher per table. Vegetarian options are available.

Max of 1 child permitted; ages 0-2yrs stay free of charge, ages 2-12yrs require a supplementary charge of £10 per child per night room only or £20 per child per night bed and breakfast; payable directly to hotel.

No pets permitted.

Wheelchair access available.

Advanced booking required or risk forfeiting your voucher.
