Long-known to Newcastle foodies as one of the city’s best seafood restaurants, The Big Mussel, is a family-run, independently-owned eatery in the Quayside. With today’s deal you and a buddy can tuck into favourites like scampi, fish pie or Scottish mussels in a choice of sauces like chorizo, peppers and cream; garlic, white wine and cream; or chilli, lemongrass and coconut milk. Alternatively you can enjoy an Italian classic like carbonara or goat’s cheese and roast veg linguini.
