With today’s deal you'll be tucking into delicious main dishes from The Big Mussel's new menu and finishing off with an indulgent dessert, yum! They were included in The Chronicle’s list of 13 places in and around Newcastle to get great seafood, so you're in for a sea-licious treat.
- 1/2kg pot of plump Scottish mussels with homemade mayonnaise and chunky chips in a choice of sauces including a classic white wine and cream; spicy Napoli with red onion, basil, chilli and tomato; and Thai with lime, coriander and coconut milk.
- Breaded wholetail scampi in a light crispy batter, with minted mushy peas and homemade chips
- Goat's cheese croquettes with a spicy Napoli dip
- Crème brûlée served with a raspberry compote and ginger snap biscuits
- Salted caramel chocolate torte served with Limoncello infused whipped cream
