With regard to this deal at the Old Course Hotel the quality of experience earlier this year left much to be desired.

The main areas of contention were that the food was served in the ground floor bistro with no option to upgrade. As this was bought as a special gift for my wife and we had stayed at the hotel previously, this was a disappointing element coupled with the fact that the food served was limited choice and not the quality expected. Obviously the food choice was a budget selection! To compound the disappointment we found that the spa entry was both limited and very time restricted. Not only that but much of the area was out of operation and we were notified by a member that it had been so for months.

On a positive note, rooms were well serviced although the Itison allocation was to the rear of the hotel overlooking a flat roof. I paid £275 for this ‘privilege’ and on complaining to the hotel manager I was made a derisory offer that, needless to say, I will not be accepting. Neither will I return to this hotel whose standards have certainly fallen over the past few years.

Overnight stay for two in an Eden room with a 3 course dinner and breakfast

Voucher is valid from Sat 26 Oct 2019 until Mon 23 Dec 2019, valid 7 days; subject to availability.

Excludes 7 - 8, 14 - 15, 22, 30 Nov and 7 Dec 2019.

£30 supplement is required per room, per night for Fridays and Saturdays; payable directly to the hotel.

Advance booking required. Voucher must be booked by Fri 29 Nov 2019 (we don’t want you to miss out!).

You risk forfeiting your voucher if you cancel within 7 days of your booking.

Multiple voucher purchases permitted.

Multiple vouchers can be used on consecutive nights; subject to availability.

Check-in 3pm, check-out 12noon.

King, queen or twin Eden room available.

Rooms can be upgraded for a supplementary charge per room per night: Old Course room - £50, Old Course suite - £150; payable directly to hotel.

Stay can be extended by a night for a supplementary charge; please discuss directly with hotel.

Includes 3 courses from the market menu in Sands restaurant; menu is subject to change.

Vegetarian, dairy, gluten / wheat free options are available. Please advise hotel when booking.

Includes complimentary spa access from 7am - 10am and 7pm - 9pm. A charge of £40 pp applies for access between 10am-7pm; please arrange with hotel directly. 

Max of 2 children permitted; children are classed as ages 3 – 15 yrs and can be accommodated in a suite for £45 per child including breakfast.  Supplement of £150 is also required for room upgrade. 

No pets permitted.

Wheelchair access available.

The venue may restrict the number of itison bookings on each day so please book early if you want a specific date.

The beginning and end period of a voucher’s validity is always the busiest. We advise members to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Vouchers must be printed for redemption; please print your voucher and bring along with you to avoid disappointment.
