The Experience

Since 2013, over 200,000 of you have joined us at itison Drive-In Movies, with 5* reviews and regulars coming back time and time again. We know drive-ins better than anyone, and we can’t wait for our first socially-distanced event! See full details of how we’re making it safe for 2020.

This summer, get out of the house and into your car for the ultimate date night, family outing or get-together with your pals, all for just £32 per car. We’ve hand-picked our best ever line-up, with feelgood favourites from the 80s & 90s, musicals to sing your heart out to, and end-of-the-world blockbusters to make you realise, even now, that things could be worse.

Alongside your favourite movie, you can enjoy Scotland’s best street food, in-car quizzes, our legendary car-aoke and socially-distanced toilets for a no-stress pee.

In a stunning location near Loch Lomond, itison Drive-In Movies is the day out you’ve been waiting (all year) for!

The Movies

Coming to the big screen at Loch Lomond Shores and not a minute too soon!

Mamma Mia (PG)

Friday 31st Jul 12.00pm

Take a chance on us with this guilty pleasure - see Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan dancing around a Greek island singing ABBA songs. Voulez-Vous? Of course you do.

Dirty Dancing (12)

Friday 31st Jul 5.30pm

Join hands and hearts and voices (with your household only), grab a watermelon and come on down. But remember, Johnny’s dance lessons are still as relevant as ever – don’t go into other people’s spaces.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show (15)

Friday 31st Jul 9.30pm

A cult classic for adult eyes only! Brad and Janet stumble upon a strange mansion when their car breaks down and are not expecting the weird & wonderful creatures they meet inside. Where will they go from here? Well, it’s just a jump to the left…

Jurassic Park (PG)

Sunday 2nd Aug 12.00pm
Wednesday 29th Jul 5.30pm

90s Spielberg blockbuster featuring everyone’s favourite nice guy, Jeff Goldblum. Teaching us that humans don’t always know best and dinosaurs should probably be left alone.

E.T. (U)

Monday 3rd Aug 12.00pm

The famous little extra-terrestrial was just trying to get home and here we all are, trying to get away from ours. A feelgood movie for the whole family, starring a young Drew Barrymore.

Mrs. Doubtfire (12)

Wednesday 29th Jul 12.00pm
Tuesday 4th Aug 5.30pm

In one of his best roles, Robin Williams puts on a questionable accent and some stockings in order to spend more time with his children. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll wanna get out the vacuum cleaner & dance!

Back to the Future (PG)

Thursday 30th Jul 5.30pm
Saturday 1st Aug 12.00pm

Hop in the car and travel in linear time to see one of the best movies of the 80s. Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads. Only kidding, we do and please drive safely!

Back to the Future II (PG)

Saturday 1st Aug 5.30pm

Great Scott! Marty McFly and Doc Brown are back but this time they travel to 2015. Spoiler - it looks just a wee bit different to the 2015 we know, apart from a glaring presidential similarity.

Stand By Me (15)

Wednesday 29th Jul 9.30pm

Coming-of-age, heartstring-puller featuring River Phoenix, Corey Feldman and all-round 80s bad boy Kiefer Sutherland.

The Goonies (12)

Monday 3rd Aug 5.30pm

Follow the coolest group of misfits as they search for buried treasure in a cavern and meet some interesting characters along the way! Now we can put those added lockdown pounds to good use and do the Truffle Shuffle!

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (15)

Tuesday 4th Aug 12.00pm

THE feelgood hit of the summer! Ferris celebrates a sneaky day off school in style (imagine his lockdown antics!). Grab your shades and come twist & shout with us. Anyone? Anyone?

Independence Day (12)

Sunday 2nd Aug 5.00pm

We’re spoiling you with another Goldblum blockbuster, though this time it’s the aliens trying to destroy the earth! Starring Will Smith, plus Bill Pullman as the President that Trump recently compared himself to. We’ll let you be the judge of that.

Armageddon (15)

Sunday 2nd Aug 9.30pm

A large asteroid will destroy the earth in 18 days and their only hope is Bruce Willis. So, obviously we have faith; we’ve seen Die Hard.

28 Days Later (18)

Monday 3rd Aug 9.30pm

A mysterious virus wreaks havoc in the UK and a team of survivors tries to cope with the aftermath. Directed by Danny Boyle and featuring Cillian Murphy, it’s a topical (peaky) blinder.

The Matrix (15)

Tuesday 4th Aug 9.30pm

Cult science fiction movie starring Keanu Reeves as Neo. Join us to uncover what lies within The Matrix. The only question is, do you take the red pill or the blue pill?

Joker (15)

Thursday 30th Jul 9.30pm
Saturday 1st Aug 9.30pm

Put on a happy face and come see Gotham City from a different perspective, as Joaquin Phoenix delivers an eerily excellent Joker, without a Batman in sight.

The Incredibles (U)

Thursday 30th Jul 12.00pm

Bob and Helen Parr used to be top, crime-fighting superheroes, but now all they’re fighting is boredom and bulging waistlines. We can all relate, right? Thankfully, a mysterious communication has the whole family jumping back into action! And no, it’s not their takeaway delivery driver.
