The Event

1. What is itison Drive-In Movies?

Scotland’s most magical drive-in movie experience! Every year, we welcome 20,000 people to our winter wonderland in Loch Lomond Shores for the ultimate Christmas tradition: a movie, car-aoke, gourmet street food stalls and loads of festive fun.

Drive-In is taking place from 18th-24th December.

Tickets

1. Where do I buy tickets?

Tickets go on sale here at 7:30am on Tuesday 29th October.

2. How much are tickets?

Tickets are £30 per car. This includes a £5 booking fee.

3. How many people can I bring per ticket?

Your ticket covers your vehicle, a driver and up to 4 passengers. We recommend you don’t overload your car to ensure all passenger can comfortably view the screen through the windscreen.

4. Do I need to print my ticket?

You must bring your ticket to the event and you can either print it or show it on your phone. Please just keep in mind signal may be patchy, so if you're going to show your ticket on your phone we'd recommend taking a screenshot to be on the safe side!

5. Can I buy tickets for multiple screenings?

Absolutely! You're welcome to attend as many screenings as you like. If you have tickets for consecutive screenings, please let the stewards know when you arrive and show them your ticket for the next movie. Between screenings, a steward will guide your car forward to the front of the park or ask you to re-join the queue to enter.

Need to know

1. Is the event wheelchair accessible?

Yes, Drive-In is suitable for those in wheelchairs or with mobility issues.

2. Is food & drink available to buy?

There’s gourmet festive food including marshmallows to toast over our cosy fires, wood-fired pizzas, hot dogs, deluxe hot chocolate, hot donuts and more - make sure you arrive early so you have plenty of time to sample all the goodies! We have veggie, vegan and gluten-free options :)

Please note, there is no alcohol sold or permitted.

3. When do I arrive for my screening?

The gates open between 1.5 and 2 hours in advance of each screening time - check your ticket for the gate-open time for the screening you’re attending.

4. What should I bring?

You'll need a vehicle with a working FM radio in order to hear the movie. A printed version of your itison ticket is required for entry or you can show it on your phone - we'd recommend taking a screenshot as signal may be patchy. We'd also recommend wrapping up warm, as it's likely to be cold. Warm clothes, blankets, pillows and a hot water bottle are all great ideas. Remember, animals aren’t permitted at Drive-In Movies and neither is alcohol.

5. Are 4x4s and people carriers permitted?
Yes, these vehicles will be accommodated in a dedicated area. Please note, no vans, coaches or commercial vehicles are permitted.

6. Are there toilets on site?
Of course! These included disabled toilets.

7. How do I hear the movie?
You need to have an FM radio (in-car or handheld) to hear the movie. Details of frequency will be provided on arrival.

8. is this suitable for kids?
Yes! Bear in mind, some of the movies are rated 15 or 18, so parental discretion is advised.

9. Can I bring my pet?
Animals aren’t permitted.

10. What if the weather's bad?

If there's a little rain, just turn on your windscreen wipers! In the unlikely event of extreme weather conditions, please check our Facebook and Twitter pages for updates before setting off.

Refunds & Cancellations

1. What happens if the event is cancelled?

We’ll only cancel the event in extreme circumstances. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates, but if we do have to cancel the event we’ll email you to let you know

2. If the event is cancelled, can I get a refund?

If the event is cancelled for any reason, your ticket will automatically be refunded by itison via your original payment method within 3-5 working days.

3. I can’t make my time slot, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
