Accessibility at elfingrove

We want to make Elfingrove as accessible and inclusive as we can. If you have any access requirements or concerns that we haven’t answered, please get in touch with us at elfingrove@itison.com and we will do our very best to help.

Venue Access

Entrance to Elfingrove is via the car park ground level entrance which is step free and fully accessible for wheelchair users. Once you have had your ticket scanned there is a standard lift on the ground floor which can take you to the Centre Hall viewing area and used again to exit the venue.

Blue Badge Parking

There are limited Blue Badge spaces available within the Kelvingrove Museum car park which are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note, the car park is operated by City Parking.

Facilities

Accessible toilets and baby changing facilities are available inside the venue on the lower ground level and ground floor viewing level. There are accessible portable toilets available outside the venue in the Christmas Village.

Pamiloo

From 10th to 12th December, PAMIS will be providing their Pamiloo changing places toilet for any attendees with more complex care needs.

PA Tickets

If your disability requires you to have a Carer or Personal Assistant (PA), you can apply for a complimentary PA ticket by emailing elfingrovecarers@itison.com. Please include your ticket number, name of your carer/PA and a copy of your identification – recognised forms of ID are listed below.

Valid forms of ID

• Entitlement to Disability Living Allowance or Child Disability Payment for children under 16 or DLA/Adult Disability Payment/Personal Independent Payments (PIP) for those aged 16-64, either in the form of a letter stating that the benefit has been awarded, or the actual Allowance book.
• Attendance Allowance or Carer's Allowance letter of award.
• Incapacity Benefit books, or a letter notifying the recipient that the benefit has been awarded.
• Incapacity Benefit or Employment and Support Allowance (ESA).
• A valid Blue Badge.
• In the case of visual impairment, a registration card known as the BD8 or a Certificate of Visual Impairment (CVI).
• A local authority registration document which is local to the attraction where it is being submitted.
• A recognised Assistance Dog ID Card.
• Credibility's Access Card.
