With the exception of the receptionists both on check in and check out the staff were amazing and very friendly.
On check in we asked about lunch but the chef had gone home, fair enough, but no suggestions of anywhere nearby and receptionist was rather off hand.
The food at dinner was delicious and breakfast was also a treat.
Room was small but clean and comfortable.

The castle is a show case of antiquity, comfort, service. Nothing is too small for their delicates staff. We are looking forward to our third visit.

The Hotel is located in a quiet valley surrounded by beautiful scenery with lovely walks. The ambience of the hotel is very relaxing and acommodation is very comfortable. Restaurant provides an excellent breakfast and dinner menu is fabulous.
Will recommend Dalmunzie to my friends. 😊

The scenery is outstanding, the room was big and comfortable with excellent views. The staff were polite, friendly and very helpful.
The log fire was a treat and obviously popular.
The food was good, well cooked, but I wouldn't have minded a little more choice but perhaps it is just the beginning of the season.

Hotel itself was a wonderful experience we opted for the b+b with the £50 f/d spend. Our room was upgraded and was lovely and large, water as well as tea / coffee in room. I would say the very negatives of the hotel would be the cost of the bar items... £28 for 2 glasses of wine, £39 for a bottle. Even meal the sea trout (£26) was delish, my friend ordered the lamb loin (£32) was very under cooked and was sent back, we waited that long for a replacement that I had finished my meal by at least 5 minutes. Breakfast very disappointing, shell in scrambled eggs, both haggis and blackpudding too peppery and bacon had to eat with fingers. If we had to pay for this £17.50, I would definitely had asked for a refund. Nice room, great company but wouldn't go back

We spent two nights at the hotel. Breakfast both mornings was delicious. Dinner of slow roasted baby ribs was so flavoursome and the meat was so tender. Bad choice of pizza on the second night. Choice of interesting toppings were spoilt by the bases which appeared to be shop bought and were tasteless.
Our bedroom had a four poster bed and looked out down the glen from two windows. Bathroom had a bath with overhead shower which didn’t have a good output.
Walks straight from the hotel were plentiful and of a level to suit everyone.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
