Rooms were nice and clean, breakfast was great and everything fresh
Bar area was loud at times with large groups arriving during the day
Maybe would have liked a free coffee machine at reception area to help yourself
Overall I would recommend and stay again

When we arrived we were asked to give a 4 digit code which I was unaware of. We didn't receive our complimentary glass of prosecco or coffee. Breakfast was really nice so couldn't fault that.

We were only booked in for one night. Arrived early and didn't expect our room to be ready, but it was and that was a nice start.
Room was spacious and very clean. Bed very comfortable with lovely bed linen.
Shower hot and powerful with good soft towels.
Breakfast was fine.
Reception staff very friendly and efficient and bar staff worked very hard but with a smile!
Perhaps could be more toiletries in the bathroom and signage for rooms could be better when coming out of the lift.
A great stay and would recommend.

Arrived early which was fine so came back after 3pm to book in. Booked a double room and Prosecco for my partner as a suprise. Went to the room on the 7th Floor and guess what, no prosecco waiting. Went down stairs and when I explained that a nicely chilled prosecco hadnt been provided (as booked weeks earlier) was met by the most sour faced receptionist (Yana) who rather than be concerned at the lack of professionalism by her hotel told me I could get a voucher to get my own bootle of prospector. Not happy with that and several minutes of disagreement between Yana and myself, the barmaid came with a warm bottle of prospect, ice bucket and 2 large wine glasses. Don't they know Prosseco is drunk in flutes. !!! To make matters worse the electricity went off 30 minutes later and I had to walk down the 7 flights of stairs to find out what was going on, to be told they didn't know what to do about it. It took me ans several other residents to tell them that there was residents unable to get into there room due to the key fobs not working . One woman even came out with shampoo all over her hair as the showers had shut down along with everything else. Gave up trying to get ready for the evening and was thankful to leave for the evening. Had our breakfast in the morning, backs packed early and out the front door before anything else went. Would liken this to Fawlty Towers but at least Cybil was always nice at the reception. Never again

We really enjoyed our stay.
Location for railway & centre of Newcastle was also very good.
Staff were very nice & accommodating.
The breakfast on our second day ,which was a Monday ,was not as good as the previous day.
There were no lids on the food resulting in it being lukewarm / cold.
Enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked it again for a later date.

Was better than expected.

We were welcomed warmly by reception.
The room was clean and fresh when we got post the minor issue with the key.
Everyone we came across was friendly and helpful.
Dinner on our second night was in the bar due to a "tour" using the dining room.
I did feel for the bar staff who were run off their feet serving drinks and food to a packed room, but admired their tenacity in smiling throughout.

loved this hotel, third time, great location near the railway station. Room we had on 5th floor was huge, spotless and had everything we required. Breakfast perfect. Bottle of prosecco included with booking as were take away coffees. Staff were really friendly and helpful, Would definitely return.

From the moment we arrived until we left, we had a lovely time. The hotel is spotless and the rooms are spacious. Regardless of where you were, from reception to housekeeping, the staff couldn't be more helpful.
We're already planning to return.
