Enjoyed hamper and goodies in fridge also appreciated 3:00pm check in and 11:00am check out. All bookings should follow suit.
WiFi not working so we were disappointed this was not resolved. WiFi at Ballintaggart working but not at the cottage.

This was our first stay at the Farmhouse, (we have previously stayed in the Steading, the Cottage and the Hotel) and the only thing that we felt was missing, which is minor, was that no dressing gowns available in the bedrooms. However, when we requested some they were supplied. Another small detail was the filters in the percolators required replacing.
These small details did not detract from a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Ballintaggart Farm once again.

The cottage overlooks a row of bins and a derelict farm outhouse and at the back lies totally derelict farm buildings, weeds and a broken down car. The semi detached cottage beside it is surrounded by scaffolding and both are directly on a main road. The cottage inside was fine but with only small windows overlooking the road. The only sitting out area is a metal seat beside the road. A most disappointing stay. No views of the surrounding countryside really as it is low lying. A disastrous location. The hamper contents were mediocre. Avoid. The Steading is up at Ballintagart farm and it has views. The East End Vottage was totally mis-sold.

The Steading accommodation was superb and the breakfast hamper contents delicious. The setting is idyllic and very peaceful. The staff were welcoming and friendly and interesting to see the rest of the site. A wonderful venue for a small wedding or celebration.

We really enjoyed our stay here - it’s peaceful, beautiful views and is very well-equipped, just perfect for a short stay. Lovely welcome and welcome hamper. Great beds and linens. The log fire was also great for cosy evenings.

Lovely accommodation- unfortunately we went while the hotel was closed and the miserable weather meant that we used up the logs on the first day and had to pay £20 to have the log basket topped up. To some extent we were limited on how to spend our time and it was disappointing that we weren’t told the hotel was closed as it had been highly recommended and we were looking forward to seeing it.

We have stayed here before and will definitely be back. The cottage is well equipped and the breakfast hamper is full of wonderful goodies.
