My friend and I had a recent visit to Cameron Spa. This was my friends first visit and she was looking forward to our Rasul Thermal experience. On arrival at reception we were greeted by a member of staff who basically couldn’t be bothered showing us around, luckily I have a good memory and remembered my way about. Furthermore, within the thermal area there was a sauna and showers both out of order and to top it all the rooftop pool was closed due to low temperature. This might be pedantic but even entering at top of stairs the water feature on the signage was switched off. Basically paid £85 (£10 more than last year) for half an experience. It felt like we were treated differently as we were voucher customers, close to expiry therefore customer service lowered.

The rooftop pool was closed, the infrared sauna was closed, the two steam rooms smelt of mould, the whole place looks in dire need of an upgrade. There are signs next to the therma pool advising the floor can be slippy when wet, I was exiting the pool and holding the handrail coming down the stairs but still slipped and now have a huge bruise, luckily I am overweight and have more padding on my thighs but I'm concerned someone older and frailer could have broken a hip. Overall very disappointing

we arrived to be told the rooftop pool was closed , and out of order. this was what my friend was looking forward to as it was her birthday treat
we went to the pool first and it had metal holding something up on the floor above and unsightly
We went to the middle floor where the sauna is located all the showers were out of service, the infrared sauna was out of service , safety bits missing off the other sauna we went into , most of the lockers didn't work we spent the first 20 mins trying to find one that worked and had to wait on a robe a towels as there was none
It was beyond disappointing, and I should have been informed of all the closures beforehand. a rip off not fir for purpose and when its a gift is a disgrace
absoloutly shocking and should be refunded in full

From arrival, the grounds were beautiful, the spa entry and members of staff were very helpful. We had phoned ahead as were caught in traffic and they were very understanding. The changing facilities spotless, spa and indoor pool lovely, hydrotherapy pool awesome. Plenty places to sit, but was a quiet day. The downside was that the infinity/rooftop pool was closed, which I was really looking forward to. Would have been nice to know in advance. We had a 2 course meal after and it was delicious. Again, I couldn’t fault the staff. Only given 4 stars due to pool closure.

We have been there on an it is on voucher many times but unfortunately this time is was very poor. The out door heated jacuzzi was not working. The swimming pool had tiles out the ceiling and covers covering parts of the wall which had been taken away showing parts of the heating system or something. The showers were not working and the others which were working were far to hot you could not sort the temperature. I had also bought my daughter and niece a voucher and when they were there the swimming pool was shut and the jacuzzis was so so cold they could not use this. I have never complained about any it is on voucher I have bought but this time they were not cheap and the experience was awful at this moment in time I would not recommend to anyone.

It was very disappointing they had a heating problem with water and most of their facilities where too busy or not accessible due not working showers not working outside plunge pool water freezing should have allowed people too cancel till it was repaired it was to be a special day unfortunately it was not .

This was an 18 birthday gift for my daughter and we both loved it very much. It met all our expectations and some and hope to be back for other experiences (rasul mud). Our two course meal was excellent, as were the staff and service. Would have no hesitation in recommending to friends and family.

My favoirite part is usually the infinity pool but was too cold to stay in. The steam room was not very warm. The afternoon tea was like a day in faulty towers. After stating we require a gluten free when arrived at spa. We still had to wait as they got order wrong. We were a group of 4 said book was only for 2, no so. Then the tea and coffee order was mixed up and waitress insinuated it was our error, it actually wasnt. Other tables seem to be having the same problem
