Thoroughly enjoyed our return visit. The staff are what makes this hotel great as they are all so friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant on both nights and enjoyed our meals. Good choice at breakfast though it can take a while for food to arrive as it's freshly cooked and piping hot. Looking forward to another visit, hopefully sooner rather than later.

We received a lovely welcome by the young lass on reception. She told us everything we needed to know and much more. Our room was lovely with a view of the river. We dined in the busy restaurant, and the food was delicious as was our breakfast! The staff in every area of the hotel were exceptional!!
We left a busy bar at around 10.30 , and although there was music, and a function on we didn’t hear a thing! Bed was super comfy. All in all, we had a lovely night away at the New Inn, and only wish we’d stayed 2 nights! Will look forward to another night there soon I hope.

It started with a warm welcome, we were expected. Our rooms were ready, all the information needed fir our stay was readily available from meal times, wifi and entertainment. We booked in the restaurant for the first evening and we were so pleased we booked for the second too. The food was very good, great value for money and served just as ordered.
Breakfast catered for every diet, taste and foible! Hot, more if required and sociable staff. So rare to have a the full house. Well done

From the minute you check in the staff look after you . Pleasant, work hard and always a smile. Rooms very comfortable everything you need and spotless. The food very pleasant surprise breakfast good choices, freshly made and plentiful . Decided to have dinner there again great menu. Well cooked . The surroundings alone are worth seeing , the upgrade stands out , decor keeps the atmosphere of and old .

Hotel is clean, with friendly staff and the food was lovely. There was a pub quiz on our 1st night and live music on our 2nd night, which we really enjoyed but might be too busy for others. Staff are really friendly and were helpful with local places of interest to visit.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay. All staff were friendly and helpful. Good size room with great shower. The food was delicious and a great choice - we ate there both nights. Live music on the Saturday was an added bonus. Always good to see lots of locals use the bar and restaurant - sign of a great venue.
