- The Giant Lantern Lost Worlds returns to Edinburgh Zoo this winter following the huge success of last year’s event
- This year’s event is Lost Worlds-themed and provides a prehistoric spectacle, transporting you back in time to meet dinosaurs and all kinds of other crazy creatures!
- Features an extended route for 2019 and over 600 brand new, beautifully crafted lanterns lighting a magical trail through the zoo
- Hand-made sculptures will take visitors on a completely new nocturnal trail around the premises
- More than 50 Chinese craftspeople from Sichuan will spend over 25,000 hours expertly producing the bespoke installations

Small print
- Advance booking is not required.
- Multiple purchases permitted; max 10 per person.
- Duration: approx. 1hr 30mins.
- Suitable for all ages; under 3s go free with no ticket required, ages 3 - 15 years are classed as children and under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult.
- Please note daytime zoo entry is not included and visitors are unlikely to see any real animals.

- Pets are not permitted.
- Wheelchair access available; please note there will be no mobility vehicles in operation as the route encompasses some smaller pathways not accessible by vehicles. The route is designed so that wheelchairs and buggies can get around.
- Tickets must be printed for redemption; please print your ticket and bring along with you to avoid disappointment.
- Ticket is non-transferable and non-refundable unless event is cancelled.
