You’ll also be treated to a full Scottish breakfast the next morning, perfect for setting you up for your day ahead.

Country stay
Boasting 18 acres of private parkland, glorious views over the Solway Firth towards the mountains of the Lake District and many traditional period pieces, Hetland Hall Hotel promises a grand getaway brimming with breathtaking views and opulent surroundings. The hotel had a £2 million refurbishment last year so it’s been fully upgraded to add a modern finish whilst still maintaining the traditional feel.
Close to a number of quality golf courses including Lochmaban, where the 2nd hole takes you past the site of Robert the Bruce’s castle, as well as the historical Threave Gardens and Caerlaveroch Castle, there’s also plenty to keep you occupied if you manage to tear yourself away from your glorious abode.

We have been to Hetland Hall several times and have never been disappointed. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and tastefully decorated. All members of staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. The food was lovely wirh an extensive menu. Altogether a very pleasant experience.

My cousin and I had a Lovely overnight stay. The staff were lovely. The food was delicious and the room was excellent. Would definitely recommend it. We have stayed on numerous occasions and every visit has been great.
