- He was the first guitarist ever to be selected for BBC Radio 3’s New Generation Artists scheme, to be awarded a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship and, in 2018, to receive the Royal Philharmonic Society Award for Young Artists
- Accolades for his recordings include two Gramophone Awards and an Opus Klassik
- He is also the 2022 recipient of the Leonard Bernstein Award
- His programme demonstrates the variety of repertoire which makes him such a compelling artist

This is the first time I have bought tickets for the concert hall through ITISON.
I had bought three tickets but, as there was no seat number on vouchers, I had to phone the concert hall to find out where we were sitting. The seats were not allocated until the afternoon of the show so I was unsure if we would be sitting together. I collected the tickets at the box office an hour before the show. Excellent seats and we were together
